I HAD SEVERAL PEOPLE CHECK THE DIP STICK AFTER FIRST ANNUAL OIL CHANGE AND THEY AGREED IT LOOKED 3/4 FULL. I CALLED SERVICE TO CONFIRM THAT PERHAPS THIS WAS HOW THIS MODEL READ. OR WHATEVER, AND WAS INFORMED I WOULD GET A CALL BACK AFTER HIS/THE SERVICE DEPARTMENTS LUNCH. NO CALL SINCE ANNUAL MATENIENCE 5 DAYS AGO. WHY I CHECKED THE OIL WAS BECAUSE THE ENGINE SEEMED HOTTER THAN USUAL WHEN I ARRIVED HOME. AND WHEN I TURNED THE ENGINE OFF, IT MADE SOME UNUSUAL TICK NOISES, JUST WANTED SOME INFORMATION.

Normal level after an oil change should be halfway between the hashmarks.This is because oil expands as it heats.The amount of oil added for an oil change is metered to specifications for your engine.I hope this answers your question.
