Had a very bad experience a few weeks ago. Took my car in for a whining noise -- assessed it to be the calipers but also found brake pads needed replacement as well as a belt. Told them to go ahead and do the work which was going to be over $1000. While waiting, the woman at the desk came to me and said the technician had also found "a major oil leak" which would require hours of labor and cost over $3000. They could not fix the oil leak that day as it needed too much time and I did not have another $3000 that day. After a worrisome weekend over how soon I had to do the repair and if I should be driving the care long distance to work, the following Monday I took my car to a local mechanic for his opinion. He had the car on the lift, had it running for an hour, and checked it over carefully to find NO OIL LEAK! As the car is 6 years old, there was a slight drip of oil which he said was not unexpected and should be watched but was in no way a major oil leak that needed costly and immediate repair! I will not go to that service department again as they clearly cannot be trusted and wanted to make money doing a costly, unneccessary repair. I bought my Subaru at this dealership and have been satisfied until now but will not go back there for service or my next car. Dianne Mahoney More

30,000 Maintenance service on my vehicle. Waited for vehicle, waiting area pleasant; my choice to wait, I was offered a loaner. Technician did explain to me additional issues that had been uncovered an vehicle, waiting area pleasant; my choice to wait, I was offered a loaner. Appreciated this as was not inexpensive, but I can't complain as costs have not been significant in the 5 years that the car has been owned. More

Very good experience. I was moving to MA from the UK and timing was critical. Max worked to make sure I got the car with the options I wanted. And the car arrived within 2 days of when it was promised (th timing was critical. Max worked to make sure I got the car with the options I wanted.
