I always bought my Toyotas and had them serviced at the Clair dealership in West Roxbury. Eventually I moved from West Roxbury to Bellingham, Mass. It is a distance of about 45 miles. The service writers were pleasant and my 1989 Camry lasted thirteen years. I then bought a RAV4 from Clair and then traded it in for a newer model. Soon after I bought the second RAV4, Clair sold its dealership to Prime. I still continued with Prime but something had changed at the dealership. There were always new people at the service counter. I continued with Prime until one day I went in for regularly scheduled service and to have the tire pressure light reset (caused by Prime on a previous service visit). I thought all was fine until halfway home when the tire pressure light came back on. I called Prime and the man I spoke to was sympathetic and told me to come back the next day. Because of the distance, I told him it was an inconvenience for me to drive that distance again. I also told him I would not come back to Prime and since that time, I have been true to my word. One day while in Brockton, I saw a billboard advertising Copeland Toyota. I dropped in and the dealer fixed the tire pressure warning light without charge. I was impressed with Copeland and began to bring my RAV4 there to have it serviced. So far, I have been very satisfied with Copeland. Although Copeland in Brockton is probably farther away than Clair in West Roxbury, I continue to go to Copeland. So far they have met all my expectations of what good service should be. Now here is a story not related to the service I received at Copeland yesterday. Today I was driving to the veterinarian with a dog and a cat in the car. It was snowing a bit. As I turned left into the veterinarian's parking lot, a 22 year old boy in a Grand Prix wasn't watching what he was doing. He rear-ended my RAV4 and caused damage to the right rear pushing the bumper against the back tire. I was strapped in, the dog was strapped in, and the cat was in the very rear in a carrier. Luckily, I wasn't hurt, the dog and cat did not get hurt, and the driver of the Grand Prix and his passenger were not hurt. However, the Grand Prix's front end suffered substantial damage. As a side note, I am unhappy to hear of the acceleration problems drivers of certain Toyota models are having. I hope Toyota can resolve the problem and regain Toyota lovers' trust and bragging rights about Toyota's reliability. More
I have been using Copeland for 5 years now, as of my last visit I will not use anyone else. The service has been great, I even had a time that the repair was s loose wire they did not charge me at all when t visit I will not use anyone else. Three cars I purchased and numerous people I have sent there. More
Our 2008 Prius (purchased at Copeland) had a flat tire on New Years Day. I went to the website and saw that Copeland was open for service on Saturday the 2nd. I called in the morning to schedule the appointment. The service receptionist called over to parts to confirm that they had the tire in stock and gave me the price before she booked the appt. I showed up within 30 minutes of my call. Copeland took me right away (no wait). They were done with the repair and an oil change before I had a chance to finish my complimentary coffee! The waiting room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. I sat down and read the morning paper while watching the news. It was the most relaxing time of my day (I'm married with 4 kids). Thanks again. I would highly recommend Copeland Toyota. More
I had been having my Toyota serviced at Copeland for a few years, and last year when I was in the market to buy a new Toyota I chose Copeland based on the great service experience. Absolutely! I enjoy the fact that they work with me on whatever issue(s) arrise without hesitation. In so doing, I leave the dealership after a service with a peace of mind that I'm in good hands and tho whatever issue(s) arrise without hesitation. I have been a Copeland Toyota customer for more than 20 years. I have purchased at least 6 cars there, 3 brand new. It's the only dealership I have dealt with during this time. I have always been treated with respect and have no complaints. I was also driven to school when my car stopped on the way. People I told found it unusual ....but it is not for Copeland Toyota. More
I am alittle conserned with the work I had done on my 2007 Lexus ES350, Lexus told me that since I had a Toyota dealership do the work, if I had any future engine problems my warentee would not be honore 2007 Lexus ES350, Lexus told me that since I had a Toyota dealership do the work, if I had any future engine problems my warentee would not be honored by Lexus? Please note I purchased my Lexus at this dealership ( it only had 5K for miles) And I have done a lot of business with Copeland Toyota and I trust their service department. I wish I knew this before I had this repair. By the way the repair turned out to be an Oil Line that blew and had to be replaced. Again I like Copeland Toyota, and will continue to send business to them. Maybe Copeland could extend my current warrentee to put me at some comfort with my auto.
