As part of replacing the cabin air filter, the tech disconnected the coolant line which goes to the coolant expansion tank but failed to reconnect it. As a result, as I drove home roughly a half gallon disconnected the coolant line which goes to the coolant expansion tank but failed to reconnect it. As a result, as I drove home roughly a half gallon of coolant was sprayed all over the passenger side of the engine compartment and the underside of the hood, and puddling on the garage floor. Fortunately I possess sufficient car knowledge to locate the open line, reconnect it, and replace the lost coolant. I then cleaned the engine, the underside of the hood, and the coolant dripping onto the garage floor. If I were unable to accomplish this on my own, Cornerstone would have paid for the car to be flat bedded back to the service department to resolve the problem. As a trivial matter, the clips holding the filter were also not closed and left open. East to address but frustrating, especially given the coolant issue. More
