I have a Jeep with 36,000 miles. I took it in for what is a well documented problem with Jeeps called the "death rattle" in a Jeep. They wanted $3800 to fix it. They also said I needed three new tires and a new radiator. Total was $8000! I am a 62 year-old woman and felt they were trying to scare me into spending this money. They stated that all the work should be done immediately - all were high risk. I took the Jeep to a tire store - they said I have several thousand miles left on all the tires. I took the Jeep to a mechanic who could find nothing wrong with my radiator (plus it has never overheated nor have I found any fluid under the engine). The mechanic did fil the "death rattle" for $850 (Corwin wanted $3800 for that piece). There is no email to reach anyone there - only a phone number. I called and was promised a call back. I did send a note through the website - also got a note back that someone would call me. I did get a call - from a salesperson who thought I wanted to buy a new car - I explained that I would never buy a car from them and explained my situation. I was told to expect a phone call - two weeks later and still waiting for that call. I filled out the survey that was sent and explained - I got a note back about how they wanted to help and I was suppose to call them to figure this out. Seems to me that if they wanted to address these issues they would be calling me as I have been told over and over again to expect a call. More
