I recently visited for service and used a coupon that was available on the company's official website. Unfortunately, the service advisor appeared visibly annoyed by this. I also noticed a typed up highlight available on the company's official website. Unfortunately, the service advisor appeared visibly annoyed by this. I also noticed a typed up highlighted note taped to his desk computer screen, directed at customers, stating that if we have an issue, we should avoid leaving reviews like this one. It’s worth noting that this was the only desk with such a sign—perhaps an indication that this isn’t the first time concerns have been raised. The primary reason we continue to return is due to the service package that was included with our purchase. The rest of the staff and other service advisors were courteous and professional. Overall, I’m giving 3 stars. More

Took my car to have a recall repair done. Apparently only one of the terribly designed bushings is covered. When they brought my car back, initially it didnt shift at all from inside the car. I was told that the only bushing covered by the r is the one under the battery attached to the transmission apparently before they learned this, they we ahead and took the cable out, and while they had it apart, they lost the bushing that made it possible for me to even shift manually. I would have to jump out of my car and shift by keeping my ebrake on, popping my hood, and reaching under the (very hot) motor above the battery and manually shifting. Very very inconvenient and very unsafe. I was really upset. I couldnt understand how i took my car to a DEALERSHIP...not just some shop...and ended up in this situation I eventually complained anď when I got my car back next time, it had no console and the shifter poked up out of the hole wherebit was. i could pull and push on it to get i. In gear. Now Corwin offered to repair. They quoted me $1400. That was not even in the realm of reality for me. I just wanted my car back the way it was when I arrived. My thought process was that if you guys unnecessarily took my car apart , then lost a piece of the part that was being worked on unnecessarily, then you should replace that part completely. Instead, i left with my shift linkage broken, and because being less wealthy than most of thepeople they service every day sort of conditions you to being used to accepting things less than ideal as long as they keep the show going,I left, intending to complain later, to someone, when i had time. Never have time. So now i am making time. My shift link cable broke, as it was always going to. As it turns out, there is replacement bushing kits for $20 or so that hundreds of youtube mechanics recommend. Corwins response will like be that they are not OEM parts and to repair a customer vehicle at a dealership like that would be sub standard for dodge. I feel like this is a really crappy thing oto do, and that Corwin should have replaced the cable once they lost the bushing. Or if they were going to cut corners, use a bushing kit. You want to feel like even if it cost more to use a dealership, you are taking better care of your vehicle. Mostly. you dont want to feel like you can be treated with a level of service that is lower than anyone else, whether you are driving something new off the lot or coming in to have a recall looked at. Your car should never come back from the dealership looking like this unless you brought it in there that way. I hope Corwin will at the very least, replace the shift cable part so i can try to replace it myself at the very least, and i hope to hear from them soon. Going to post this review everywhere, and opening a complaint with the Bbb, as well as trying to reach fCa. I have used Corwin now for 2 vehicles over 3.5 years and never had an issue like this. This is not what you expect from a dealership at all though. I deserve the same respect as someone buying a new car. If you lost a piece that you needed to at least put my car back the way it was when i brought it to you, it seems like the only ethical action is that you replace that part. More
I had an issue with my Caliber where all signs pointed to the issue being with the PCM. I took my vehicle to a shop, and they told me that it must be the PCM and that they did not have the tools to repair/r the issue being with the PCM. I took my vehicle to a shop, and they told me that it must be the PCM and that they did not have the tools to repair/replace and reprogram the PCM and recommended that I go to the dealer. Well great, the last time I was here, they "forgot" about my appointment and held my vehicle over the weekend to do a recall service, and then quoted me $1000+ in repairs. Hey, do the recall and give me my vehicle back, how about that? Anyways, I take my vehicle to the dealer and I explain to them, I have an issue with the PCM, can you check if it is functioning properly and if not, quote me for the replacement. They end up telling me that the PCM is working fine, that they had their "best tech" look at it, that he "builds his own computers" and "knows his stuff." Yeah, right. Even though the PCM was faulty and throwing innacurate codes, they ended up quoting me repairs based off the codes, which tells me that they did not even pop the hood open and look at anything. News flash, anyone can read a code and say "Well it looks like that's your problem right there hurdurdur." So, I thought, if these guys aren't going to sell me a new PCM, where else am I going to have to look? I go online and buy a rebuilt PCM and swap it out into my vehicle and you would not believe it, the codes are gone, the check engine light is off, and all the issues I was having just magically disappeared. It almost feels like the PCM was causing some sort of problems with my vehicle??? The worst part is that their diagnostic fee was more expensive than the replacement part; why the xxxx did I even bother with these clowns in the first place? Ask yourself that question before you ever come close to bringing your vehicle in to be serviced at Corwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM FIAT of Springfield, MO. All they are concerned with is getting you to agree to overpriced repairs that you may not even need. They quoted me $270 to replace spark plugs, how many of you does it take that it costs that much to replace plugs? The advisors are just salesmen, and the shop technicians cannot tell the difference between a functioning and malfunctioning part. Take your vehicle and your business elsewhere! More

Absolutely the worst service department in Springfield MO. Shane never answers the phone or calls back. They will certify vehicles with multiple issues that will not pass an inspection.
