Dropped my car off Wednesday and didn’t hear anything, called Friday and they were conveniently “just now getting it in.” We took it in for a stutter while driving and they told me it would be $570 to get called Friday and they were conveniently “just now getting it in.” We took it in for a stutter while driving and they told me it would be $570 to get in and determine the issue but then decided they would only hook it up and run diagnostics. Not even sure they did that because we had no codes in our report. Got charged $214 for that though, only for them to tell us the motor needs to be replaced as well as 3 other things for a total of $12,500. Took it to a separate mechanic and they said it was a spark plug. $700 total. They clearly just wanted to not investigate the issue and diagnose something so expensive I’d want to trade in for something they’re selling. Not to mention when the guy told me I had a 3.6 and I said “no I’m pretty sure it’s a V8” and he said “I’m listening to it. I can tell it’s a 3.6” it’s a v8. Open the hood, check the VIN, or use your ears. It’s a v8. Wouldn’t go back and would never trust their diagnostics because they just wanna stress you into buying. More
