On Saturday 01/28/2023 I purchased a Nissan Murano (2006 SL). This vehicle had 172,200 miles apron. on it. It appeared to be in good shape, and I was told that it would pass state inspection. However, Later on the night of purchase it seemed to have some issues, and the next day they got worse. On Monday 01/30/2023 I took it to a mechanic that explained that the rear shocks were blown out, the right CV joint was bad, and the housing torn, as well as the CV fluids was burnt and leaking badly, as well as a badly leaking head gasket. (About 4000 dollars in repairs. It was explained that even a cursory inspection by a mechanic (even one for a state inspection) would have caused a person to see these issues immediately. These were NOT disclosed and the vehicle was sold to me at the retail for excellent condition and without benefit of disclosure of the issues. Upon calling the dealership I was informed that "you bought the car as is," however under the LAW there must be full disclosure and no deceptive or "bad" business practices. I have decided to seek counsel and make a complaint to the Attorney General as well as suit against this dealer for the deceptive business practices and lack of disclosure while leading me to believe that the vehicle was thoroughly inspected prior to the purchase. I offered opportunity for them to make it right, but they declined, so they feel comfortable ripping off a customer, but this customer will not stand for it. They deceived me, and are going to profit from it, and I will not allow that. I offered opportunity to resolve the problem and they refused. More
