Excellent service from Corwin Ford I received excellent customer service from Tyler Jones during my recent visit to Corwin Ford's service department in Springfield, MO. I needed a part I received excellent customer service from Tyler Jones during my recent visit to Corwin Ford's service department in Springfield, MO. I needed a part replaced on my F150 that wasn't working properly. Tyler was the service advisor who greeted me and evaluated what needed to be done. He ordered the part and quickly took care of it the next day. I will definitely be a return customer. Thanks Corwin. JK More

Service center isn’t about service Went in for a so called express oil change that took over three hours to start my car the next morning and find check engine light on. Disappointed 2018 Ford user. Made a appointment to get the noise in my front wheel checked. The noise was present for two days but this morning when I was driving to the dealer I Made a appointment to get the noise in my front wheel checked. The noise was present for two days but this morning when I was driving to the dealer I did not hear the noise. I made the mistake of being honest with the young man.He said that it did not make the noise they could not fix it. Since I will be going out of town soon I said can you check it. He gave me this stare. I said "No problem I will take it take it to another Ford Dealer. I purchased the car from Corwin but this is probably my last visit. More
Emergency 800 miles from home I was traveling with a group of people with special needs to Branson when I noticed something leaking from one of my rear wheels. I have a custom mad I was traveling with a group of people with special needs to Branson when I noticed something leaking from one of my rear wheels. I have a custom made Ford van with a tag axle and 6 wheels and the front rear tire had an axle seal fail. (I believe I have the correct wording.) My husband had numerous contacts with Matt, the service advisor we worked with. They were able to work out a time for me to stop and have the fluids checked in the differential; the fluids were full but it was obvious that there was a leak of some sort. The wait was short and very comfortable. I'm sorry I didn't catch the name of the young man who checked us in but he was very accomodating to us. We left with no charge and a free bottle of fluid in case. As we continued it appeared to me the leak got worse and I was concerned about safety so back to Matt who set up a early appointment to have the seal replaced. I was able to leave Branson and everyone, have the van repaired, even a new bearing found for the 2002 van and still be back in Branson by noon. I so appreciate the kindness, understanding and willingness to help us out. It is encouraging in today's society to meet people and businesses willing to help. Thank you. More
Rsy in Service is Great About 2:00 PM 1/3/2018. my 2013 Ford Focus stalled in a Springfield medical center parking lot and refused to move even after being jump started. I fo About 2:00 PM 1/3/2018. my 2013 Ford Focus stalled in a Springfield medical center parking lot and refused to move even after being jump started. I found myself stranded in Springfield late Thursday Afternoon 50+ miles from my home in Lebanon. My car was first jump started and later transported to Corwin Ford via tilt-bed truck and delivered to the Corwin Ford Service department about 4:00 PM on a busy Friday afternoon. Seconds after arriving, I was introduced to Service Advisor Ray. I was told that Ray would take good care of me. After a couple seconds, Ray came up to me and asked that I help him fill out some paperwork to get the ball rolling. Fortunately, I had my registration and insurance information and vehicle mileage in my pocket. After filling out the work order, Ray asked me if I had a ride home (I didn't) and requested that I wait a few minutes in the waiting area. Shortly, very shortly, Ray approached me and told me they had a 3 pronged approach to my stalled Focus:1st they were going to have a service tech read the codes and see if he could diagnose the problem; 2nd they were checking in the parts department to see if they had a TCM in stock because they already suspected a TCM problem; 3rd, they were working on getting me lined up with a car rental agency if I should need to rent a car to get home. (I was thinking a rental car is going to be very expensive) From the waiting area, I watched Ray dash here and phone there for about 20 minutes before he walked over to the waiting area and told me as follows: the TCM was defective, Corwin doesn't have a TCM stock but will have one in the morning, and finally, Enterprise car Rental would be picking me up shortly and providing a rental...oh yeah, Ford would pick up the rental cost. I was not only pleased, I was very pleased. About 1 1/2 hours after watching the tilt-bed driver dump my Focus behind Corwin Ford, I was smiling and driving a 2018 Ford Fusion Titanium to my home...no charge to me. The Fusion Titanium turbo was a very nice ride, but its 18 inch tires were noisy and harsh..., but no charge to me. Friday afternoon about 2:00 PM , Ray call me in Lebanon and told me my car was repaired and ready to pick up. About 3:00, I dropped my Fusion rental at Enterprise and they gave me a ride up to Corwin Ford.. As promised, My beloved Ford Focus was repaired, warranted once again rendered ready to roll. Summary: Ray and the Corwin service crew hit the spot. My 2013 Ford Focus has been a problematic vehicle because of its transmission/clutch/TCM problems, but the misery has been cheerfully abated by the very good warranty service in Lebanon by Lindsay Ford and by Corwin Ford in Springfield . Ray of the Corwin team stands out as a spark-plug of a great Ford service organization. Corwin and Ford are fortunate to have a talented, seasoned, people-guy like Ray playing on the he Corwin team. Corwin gave me great warranted service. I recommend Corwin Ford to my friends and co-workers....see Ray in the service department if your Ford is broke. More
Worst Ford dealership there is! From sales to service it has been bad on top of bad. I tried to buy a F-150 quad cab 5.0 from them. I told them what I needed for my trade in and how From sales to service it has been bad on top of bad. I tried to buy a F-150 quad cab 5.0 from them. I told them what I needed for my trade in and how much I needed my monthly payment to be. After 4 hours and 4 test drives I decided to get the extended cab they showed me on the first test drive. KBB says my truck is worth $20,000 they offered $14,000. I said I needed a car payment of $350 they came back with $698! After 4 hours of totally wasting my time I asked for my keys to go to the next dealership before they closed. The sales person says "I put $1000 in savings tickets on this deal that we only get so many of a month so when you come back don't be surprised if the price is higher". I advised I will not be purchasing anything from them. Fast forward... I purchased a truck from another dealership and it is having issues with a rattle when you let off the gas. I looked for a Ford dealership to take it to since it is under factory warranty. Corwin had good reviews for their service department so I thought I would give that side a try. It is also my local dealership so it would be nice to go there for the closeness. I took my truck up there at 7 am they had it most of the day and called about 4 p,m saying it was fixed. I go to pick it up and when they pulled it around the rattle is happening every time he lets off the gas. I advised it wasn't fixed and that the same issue it still there. I drive it through the parking lot and he points me back to the garage. He said he heard it loud and clear and that with the windows up he couldn't. He advised we need to talk to the tech about it. The tech advised he drove it that morning and heard the rattle and performed the TSB Ford recommends to fix the issue and since it didn't fix it they would contact Ford to see what to do next. I called them after 2 days and left a message to call me back. 2 days later they still hadn't called so I called and left another message after 2 more days still no contact from them so I called Ford Corporate office. The had a regional manger call me the next day. She advised she had talked to Corwin and they told her they were never able to get the issue replicated and that the issue is normal for the vehicle. I told her the story of what happened when I picked the vehicle up and advised they outright lied to her. WHY WOULD THEY LIE??? All I want is to get my truck fixed (a TSB would not be out if it was normal for the vehicle) and they are hindering me from doing so by lying to their Corporate company. I will never try to do business with them again and it is my goal to make sure no one I know purchases anything from them. Literally the worst experience trying to buy and fix a vehicle that I've ever had in my life. You've been warned!!! More
