Very pleasant and helpful sales lady After my car was totalled earlier in the week, I had spent 4 days in a row on a search for a replacement vehicle. I had visited 5 different dealers and was very weary of obnoxious salesmen. When I walked into Liberty Toyota I was pleasantly surprised and very much encouraged to be helped by a friendly helpful female salesperson. Jana was such an encouragement after a very exhausting past 4 days dealing with guys who were more interested in making a sale than actually helping me. She even found a tape measure so we could measure the back of the Rav4 to see if bicycles would fit, and also was willing to have the previous owner who traded it in contacted to see if they ever had cats in the vehicle because of my husband's asthma brought on by cat dander. More

At that point the service adviser came to tell me the car was almost ready but that they'd given me a complimentary inspection and there some things of concern he wanted to share with me. Most of them were ridiculously expensive items of maintenance such as replacing the air filter. However, the one that really concerned me was being told that my water pump was leaking and it was important to have it replaced. Now, I have an old car. It has 160,000 miles on it and is 15 years old, but it runs great and is far "younger" than other Toyotas I've owned. I told the adviser that I'd think about it and after I left I drove over to an independent shop that's earned my trust over the years. They looked at the water pump and told me that there was not only nothing wrong with it, there were absolutely no signs of any problems that would give someone the idea there might be a problem. I thanked them and drove the car home. This was an experience so typical of car dealers that I've experienced in my life. I went to Larry Miller Toyota because of the recall, but had had negative experience with their sales department in the past. While they sell the best made cars in the world (and I've had everything from Chevy's to Mercedes and have no doubt Toyota is the best), I'm very wary of whether their service is trustworthy. I'll give them 3 stars to be fair, but that's probably generous given what they did. More
