First time ever posting an online review... And first time Ram truck owner. I live in Washington, 313 miles from Cottage Grove CDJR. I was looking for a specific set of packages/options for a 2021 150 time Ram truck owner. I live in Washington, 313 miles from Cottage Grove CDJR. I was looking for a specific set of packages/options for a 2021 1500 Limited. Many Seattle-area dealers had trucks with most of what I was looking for, but no one had a truck with all of the items I wanted. Cottage Grove CDJR had the vehicle I was looking for. I wasn’t thrilled about the distance, but one call to the dealership convinced me to pursue a deal. Jeremy Ralston got on the phone with me and took really good care of me. He was professional, straightforward, and I could tell that he wasn’t going to waste my time. No hard sales pitches, no runaround, just provided the info on the truck and how CG does business. He listened to me and seemed to really understand exactly what I was looking for. Knowing that I was particular about the various options Jeremy told me that he wanted to physically go out on the lot to inspect the truck to make sure that every package and option was indeed in/on the vehicle. He called me back within minutes and assured me that the vehicle was as listed on the window sticker. We got right down to business, negotiating the purchase price, my trade-in, and the terms. I prefer to negotiate from invoice pricing, not the MSRP. In a short period of time Jeremy was back on the phone with me. Cottage Grove offered me a package that I thought was pretty fair, given the current market conditions and the limited availability of this particular vehicle package. I was planning to drive down to the dealership, but plans changed last-minute, and I had to fly into Eugene on a Saturday. Jeremy found a way to get an employee to pick me up and transport me down to the dealership, which was really nice because ground transportation on short notice became challenging. Jeremy had taken care of every part of the transaction with me by phone, and I believed he had very-well prepared me and the transaction, so the only item left was to actually sign the paperwork. Even though there should have been no surprises or additional selling at the dealership, I still expected, given my history purchasing vehicles, to have to sit through some extra sales pitch. Well, didn’t happen! I arrived at the lot, was brought right in, introductions made, checked out the vehicle, paperwork signed, and I was on my way. Couldn’t have gone smoother… Based on my experience I highly recommend Cottage Grove CDJR. I’ll be back, and I’ll recommend to my family, friends, and business acquaintances. It was worth the drive. Last, while they probably have other good salespeople, I suggest you ask specifically to work with Jeremy. He was a pleasure; professional, attentive without being sappy, gave me confidence in our relationship and took good care of me throughout.
