The bodyshop is top notch. Recently made contact with a deer and it did some damage. Inquired about a 2021 Terrain. Received a call from Kara (Call coordinator) the following morning, was pushed off to another salesman (Jon). Explained I would be trading a 17 Malibu Premier in and paying th (Call coordinator) the following morning, was pushed off to another salesman (Jon). Explained I would be trading a 17 Malibu Premier in and paying the remainder of the new vehicle with cash. The Terrain was listed for $29,605 on Coughlin Newark's website but was also listed higher at $29,897 on Coughlin cars website. After several hours Jon called me back to let me know the price was actually higher than both advertised prices online and that they had a disclaimer for those instances. Tried to contact a manger to question this but Kara intervened. I explained to Kara about a vehicle at a competing GMC dealer in Eastgate Ohio (Holman) that was more expensive than the Terrain they were selling and marked down more just to attract a customer. Kara gave me the best advice yet, "Why not just purchase their Terrain". Thanks for the advise Kara! P.S. They (Holman) offered me more for my trade as well. More
I had my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 serviced because of a previous problem that was fixed, but not completely. It was the left rear door locking mechanism that had failed, & it was brought to my attenti of a previous problem that was fixed, but not completely. It was the left rear door locking mechanism that had failed, & it was brought to my attention from Brad in the Service Dept. that it had been almost 3 yrs. ago. A fastener needed to be tightened to complete the process of fixing the problem. Brad, Bruce, & the Technician helped to solve the rattling noise that I've had for a long time. Thank you Everyone! Overall, this is an excellent dealership. I have purchased 3 trucks there, and get all my service done there. I have also used the body shop twice with good results. Although the most recent repair of front end collision damage resulted in the hood not being properly aligned. This required an inconvenient return of the vehicle, but they willingly fixed the problem correctly and provided a free-of-charge new car for my use during the repair. Handled very professionally with satisfactory results in the end. More

Disappointed I was disappointed in the fact that the features that came or did not come with my vehicle were NOT communicated with me at the time of purchase. Any time I asked about a feature I was given the answer “I don’t know or I’m not sure”. Also, the vehicle was supposed to have been “detailed” yet it was not unless she did it with her eyes closed. The floor mats were in a pile in the back and were COVERED with dirt/dust, the windows had not been washed, etc. I had to clean the floor mats and then vacuum out the back of the SUV afterwards. There was no gas in the SUV so I had to fill it up or I would have not made the 90 minute trip back home. I understand that I did not purchase a brand new SUV, however, I think I should’ve been treated with the same respect. Most people cannot afford to purchase a brand new car right now so we should not be penalized for that fact. Our salesmen was nice and friendly as a person but as for selling, he was not knowledgeable about the vehicle and I am still having to research on my own about products/features, etc. Also, when asked about the key fobs that should’ve been with the key he had zero clue where they were. The key’s needed to be purchased and programmed by a dealer or locksmith – which I did not know until long after the fact – so I had to shell out an additional $200 to get them replaced. This costly piece of information SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMMUNICATED to me at the time of purchase. More
