This dealership is by far the best dealer in town to do business with. I got the best deal up front without the pushy sales feeling throughout the process. Sales experience was good and certainly not the issue. We opted to buy a CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) Chevrolet for the warranty and piece of mind that comes with it. What we got AFTER the sales experience was opted to buy a CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) Chevrolet for the warranty and piece of mind that comes with it. What we got AFTER the sales experience was over was shoddy detailing, subpar service/sales department Q&A and in my opinion an overall rushed job to move us on and bring in the next customer. 1) We came in to pickup our new to us 2017 Sierra a few days after we finalized the deal. Upon initial observation of the interior detailing I noticed several surfaces weren't wiped, all of these were pointed out to my salesman who of course offered to bring the truck back to the detailing dept. but at that point I'd rather just clean it myself. Additionally, the "coolant level low" warning kept appearing on the screen. 2) On my way home from the dealership I noticed that the fuel filter life expectancy option wasn't toggled for the onboard screen. With this truck being a diesel the fuel filter is one of the most important wearable items so I toggled it and to my surprise after having just completed a 172 point CPO inspection it was at 2% life expectancy. In the meantime I purchased coolant and poured 1/2 gallon in to the reservoir to top it off and stop the CPU from sending the message. Really? 1/2 gallon low and fresh from a 172 point CPO inspection??? Furthermore looking through the backseat pocket holders I found temp registration and casino ID cards of the previous owner, yet another complete failure on the detailing dept. end of things. 3) I reached out to my salesman who communicated with the service dept. who told him that the fuel filter had indeed been replaced, they had just forgotten to reset the CPU and I was instructed on how to do this. I had a feeling this wasn't true so I requested an invoice from the service dept. showing me exactly what had been done during the CPO process and prior to my taking custody of the vehicle. This paperwork showed no evidence of the fuel filter being replaced and I confirmed this by calling the service dept. myself and going over the invoice. 4) During my call with the service dept. I questioned a comment about the "right front axle seeping fluid." This would make most new owners of a $60K truck wonder what this was and what was done to remedy the issue, I literally was told that all they did was "wipe away the excess fluid, there was nothing else to fix." Really? A seeping front axle is acceptable for a Chevrolet dealership to place the CPO stamp on it by simply wiping the fluid away with a rag? 5) When my salesman questioned the service dept. manager about why the fuel filter wasn't replaced he relayed to me that it was a "wearable item and the owner's responsibility." So again, it was to Chevrolet's satisfaction that a CPO vehicle was sent away with 2% life expectancy on a $40 fuel filter, when the 172 point inspection that the vehicle goes through to become a CPO clearly states that the fuel system was "inspection completed," and satisfactory when the techs didn't even toggle the fuel filter life expectancy to complete this check. In summary I would not recommend this dealership not because of the sales dept. but 100% due to the rushed product that the CPO and service dept. are putting out. It's extremely frustrating to spend $60K on a truck and literally be wiping down the interior, topping off the coolant and replacing a fuel filter within 1 week of driving it off of what was supposed to be a reputable lot.
