"Beyond Expectations"

I live in Knoxville TN and prior to now have never had a reason to shop outside this or any other city I've resided in. That said, nothing about this transaction was typical; I was looking for a very specific, very limited, hard to find vehicle...I had a vehicle to trade that I needed a certain minimum price for...I wasn't interested in financing and had a maximum "out the door" price that I couldn't exceed. As time passed I kept upping my search range and one day there it was - THE CAR! Not only what I wanted, it was one of the two colors I "had to have" and had way below average miles. So, on Thursday evening June 20th I emailed the dealer, let them know I was interested and specified all the terms I needed. I was surprised to have a response from Patrick Bagley in my email when I logged in the following morning. To make a long story a little shorter, I had a proposal within 24 hours of seeing the car online. While it was roughly $300 above what I said I needed, it was actually better than I expected (and of course I had low-balled my number). Above all, it was FAIR. I honestly couldn't complain. "Beyond Expectations" sums it up; the terms I needed, the distance involved, the mutual trust necessary in dealing with people that have never met and cars that neither had ever seen. In the end it was as easy as any car buying experience I've ever had (easier than most!). Patrick was a pleasure to work with, super nice guy, totally accommodating. I can't say I'll be going back Lol, but hey you never know. I can't say I won't either.... Mike

"New 2018 F-150 XLT EcoBoost 5k Miles"

Upon Purchase 04-18-2019, They Said They Would Detail Truck, Inside, Bubble gum/Spilled Soda Cup Holders, Kept Truck 5 Days, Gave Loaner, Inside Never Touched, Todate Still Have Not Received Bill of Sale/Purchase Documents, 30 Day Temp Tags Expired, Could Not Drive Legally, Insurance Co Attempted Contact, Never Returned Calls, They Did Not Submit Docs For Title, ect, Doc's Showed Ad Valorem Taxes Were Collected/Paid In Total Purchase, Discovered From Corporate Ford Today, VETERANS Rebate Never Filed, They Made Copy of Mil-Retired ID Card, Also Stated Rebate Was Processed, Rebate Turn Around Aprox 1 Month. Guessing They Don't Care About Retired Vietnam Vets. Served In Marines, Air Force, Army, DOD. All Above Was Brought To Their Attention, Incl 2 Weeks Before Before Temp Tags Expired, Spoke W/Jon Headrick General Mgr, Sales Rep Josh, Left Messages, NEVER Returned Call(s)We Always Had To Initiate Follow-Ups. Left Message Last Friday About Rebate, Never Called Back Yet, Told My Wife They Would Not Due To Historical Trending Dealing w/Them. Me & My Wife Are Retired Senior Citizens, My Wife Is Not In Good Health, Pace Maker & Defibrillator& Insulin Dependent +Medication, She Did Not Need This Kind Of Treatment/Stress. My Wife Is a Sweet Lady!. This Was Our 1st New Vehicle Purchase Ever, $43.7K Filed Official Complaint Today w/Ford Corp, COURTESY Ford Rome GA, My Wife Conducted All Of The Purchasing Negotiating. U Might Have Better Results If Not Paying/Cash-Certified Check. This Is Not The Only Ford Dealer In Area, They Are Privately Owned. They Don Not Even Deserve 1-Star Rating, We've Never Been Treated This Way/BAD Before, Convinced, They Have Hidden Issue(s)Consumer Beware. Today, Just Completed The Ford Online ID.me Verification & Rebate Process From House, Received The eCertificate ID#. Stated Before, They Made Copies Of Me & My Wife's Military ID's @ Purchase. Waiting On a Return Call From Ford Corp HQ Mgnt. Will Update ASAP Until Final Resolution. Respectfully Submitted

"Scammed by the dealer"

I made an offer on a truck contingent that the truck be in a 100% state of repair and the dealership agreed. When I showed up, two issues were prominent. The first issue that was noticed was the tire pressure sensor fault. I asked that the reason for this code to be taken care of and they agreed. The second issue was a squealing belt(s). They agreed to take care of this issue as well. They were unable to complete repairs before I left the dealership and I agreed to take delivery on the truck the following week (6 days later). When I took delivery, the truck appeared to be ok. That afternoon, not long after receiving the truck, the tire pressure sensor issue resurfaced. The following day, the belt let go and cracked the fan shroud. I contacted the salesman and he said that a representative from the dealership would contact me. I waited until the following day and called back that resulted in me leaving a message. I tried contacting the dealership everyday after that and nobody from management ever returned my phone calls. I finally called the bank to find out that they had requested the funds from the loan. The bank representative called and we spoke with a gentleman named John. He assured me that he would call me back that day to have the truck picked up. I asked that they return the funds and accept the truck back. He insisted on another attempt on them fixing the truck. They have not called me back nor answered my calls since then. In short, they scammed me into a truck they should have never sold and that I am stuck with.
