Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are disappointed that your experience did not meet your expectations. As with all financing transactions, loan approvals are ultimately subject to lender underwriting guidelines, verification requirements, and final funding review. In this situation, the lender’s final review determined that certain information provided during the application process by your son could not be verified or accepted under the lender’s underwriting requirements. As a result, the original approval could not be finalized under the terms initially presented. Rather than unwind the transaction, our team worked diligently to help your son maintain an approval. We were able to secure a revised approval while reducing the amount financed by approximately $4,000 and without requiring any additional cash investment from him. We did this because we recognized he was a first-time buyer and wanted to help him establish his credit successfully to overcome his "minor credit blemish." Throughout the process, we discussed several potential solutions. One of those options was obtaining a qualified co-signer, which may have provided additional financing flexibility from the outset. Ultimately, you chose to secure financing through your own credit union, which was certainly your right and an option we fully supported. We understand that financing changes can be frustrating, particularly when lender requirements change after a transaction has been submitted for final approval. However, we respectfully disagree with the characterization that our team acted unprofessionally or dishonestly. Our staff spent considerable time working to preserve your son’s approval, reduce his financed amount by over $3000, and present multiple solutions designed to help him complete his purchase. If helping a first-time buyer save over $3000 while securing an alternative approval makes us the “worst dealership,” then we will respectfully accept that criticism. Our goal was simply to help your son become a successful first-time vehicle owner. I do not believe a 24% loan was the way to go and we were also told that a co-signor had to live at the same address! Not true! That would have been crazy to sign a loan for that amount. Once I notified the finance department we were getting a co-signor they did absolutely nothing to find us a finance company other than the initial one at 24% and it would bring it down to %15%. What a joke! The co-signor had an 850 credit score. I notified him on a Friday and sent over papers and I had to get back to him on Monday as to what the status was and was told that the customers over the weekend took precedence over our loan. Again, what a joke! As for my son's initial application, it was a ballpark figure give or take a few hundred dollars and the end result is ALWAYS the paystubs!!! You did nothing but bring this up time and time and time again and WHY? There were many lies during this finance process and I can tell you that going to the credit union was delightful compared to your finance department. I can go on and on and on! There was NO helping my son!
