The Courtesy automotive brand has been serving Phoenix customers since 1955. Courtesy Automotive in addition has a Chevrolet store in San Diego and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store in San Juan Capistrano in CA. This will be the first new store in Phoenix since 1955. Courtesy Automotive started in 1955 with the family member Ed Fitzgerald. Not long after that, William Gruwell joined the family and the business, and today leads the organization as President of Courtesy Automotive. He is joined by his two sons, Mark Gruwell, General Manager of Courtesy San Diego, Scott Gruwell General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix and his son in law, Jason Church, who is the General Manager of the new Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale.
The Courtesy family has three generations of ownership and is excited to add the VOLVO brand to the Courtesy Group. With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we look forward to serving the Valley's VOLVO customers.
Construction started in January, 2017 and with a completed store ready to open in August 2017. The family is excited to offer a full line up of new VOLVO cars and SUVs serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix and Paradise Valley areas at first. Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale will offer a complete line up of Certified Used VOLVOs, as we have a heritage of supporting and promoting the benefits of a strong Certified program to our customers.

Great Service, But I purchased a 2015 Mercedes Benz from Courtesy Volvo I am very happy with the sales service I received. Although, the vehicle I purchased was still I purchased a 2015 Mercedes Benz from Courtesy Volvo I am very happy with the sales service I received. Although, the vehicle I purchased was still covered under Mercedes Benz factory warranty, but Courtesy was not willing to remove the extra fee of their own one year vehicle warranty. Luckily, I was able to "negotiate" away from the fee they wanted for window tint. Unfortunately, if the vehicle I purchased needs warranty service, it will go to Mercedes Benz before Volvo for the needed service. Basically, Courtesy was able to secure a $799.00 fee and will never need to provide the service. After I had the vehicle home for a couple of days, a small portion of clear coat was coming off of the bumper. I contacted Courtesy Volvo, and they were more than happy to repair the area using their mobile paint specialist. My sales person, Daniel Morgan, was very cordial and knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased. More

Great experience at Courtesy Volvo I went to Courtesy Volvo with the express intent on looking at a particular used vehicle after making contact with Ed Himes via email. That vehicle was not a good fit but Ed worked with me, showing me several other vehicles. With his help, I did find that certain one. Ed also worked hard with me and his sales manager to hammer out terms that were a win for both sides. Short and sweet. Straight to the point I came in looking for a specific Kia Sportage I found listed online. I was instantly greeted buy my salesman to whom I showed the listing on my phon I came in looking for a specific Kia Sportage I found listed online. I was instantly greeted buy my salesman to whom I showed the listing on my phone and he directed me to its location on the lot. After a quick coy of my drivers license, we were off on the test drive. I was allowed some freeway and surface street time before returning to the dealership. The negotiations were short. I had my desired price and we were able to find a great price to agree upon. Before we agreed to make the drive to pick up the vehicle, he answered every question I had almost immediately via text or phone calls. Once we arrived he had everything ready for us and we were in and out of there very fast. Jason Moroso, was our finance manager and he was great as well. Very informative and polite.
