The Courtesy automotive brand has been serving Phoenix customers since 1955. Courtesy Automotive in addition has a Chevrolet store in San Diego and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store in San Juan Capistrano in CA. This will be the first new store in Phoenix since 1955. Courtesy Automotive started in 1955 with the family member Ed Fitzgerald. Not long after that, William Gruwell joined the family and the business, and today leads the organization as President of Courtesy Automotive. He is joined by his two sons, Mark Gruwell, General Manager of Courtesy San Diego, Scott Gruwell General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix and his son in law, Jason Church, who is the General Manager of the new Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale.
The Courtesy family has three generations of ownership and is excited to add the VOLVO brand to the Courtesy Group. With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we look forward to serving the Valley's VOLVO customers.
Construction started in January, 2017 and with a completed store ready to open in August 2017. The family is excited to offer a full line up of new VOLVO cars and SUVs serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix and Paradise Valley areas at first. Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale will offer a complete line up of Certified Used VOLVOs, as we have a heritage of supporting and promoting the benefits of a strong Certified program to our customers.

Easy car buying experience! I went into the dealership not expecting to buy a car the same day, but the deal and package they were giving me was too good to let go. I was assisted by Edward who answered all our questions and gave us great advice. There were no gimmicks or surprise fees with them. The price they gave included everything. I definitely recommend this dealership for both used and new cars. Everyone was super friendly and nice. More

Jeremy made it work I traded up with the help of Jeremy. I loved my car (Volvo C30) and he eventually got me into another Volvo (S60) that I will love just as much. Judson White is exceptional I purchased my Volvo at Volvo of Phoenix in 2012, however I lived in Tempe, AZ at the time. I had regular service needed later that year and went to V I purchased my Volvo at Volvo of Phoenix in 2012, however I lived in Tempe, AZ at the time. I had regular service needed later that year and went to Volvo of Tempe (now Gilbert to my understanding). Judson White was the service technician at this time, and based on my experience I have gone to no one else. Judson cared for my C30 for as long as I owned it, and treated me with the utmost honesty and respect in all of the years I worked with him. I recently had a battery issue ( I know... don’t go to the dealership!) and I found that Judson had move to Courtney Volvo of Scottsdale, so of course I followed him. Judson is reliable, loyal and dedicated to the Volvo brand beyond the dealership he calls home. He is efficient and patient, which are much needed people skills when charging dealership service prices that can be significantly higher that average. Based on my service visit with Jud and the time he took to deal with my car and needs, I eventually traded in for a new Volvo at Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale. I am happy and relieved to know that Judson is there and able to know my personal Vovlo experiences and those that may occur with my new Volvo. Bravo Judson! More

They were very accommodating to our vehicle buying process, thus making us feel at ease with no pressure of purchasing. We found the exact vehicle we wanted at this dealership and we had been looking for approx 6 months. The price, value, low mileage, the spaciousness of the interior and the overall great condition of the vehicle were all the reasons why we purchased the GMC Yukon. Andrew was a great salesperson, he was easy going, not pushy, funny and overall made us laugh on several occasions and he made us feel very welcome! We liked working with him and we'll refer more customers to him for future car purchases. Jason and Jeremy were very helpful!! They went above and beyond to ensure our happiness with our financial investment, working diligently during our loan process. They always made us feel lik they had our best interest and willing to go the extra mile to make us happy! We trusted them during the sales/finance process, and they stood by their words and finalized our deal much to our satisfaction!! Jud White has been my service adviser for my last two cars, and I followed him from another dealership in town to Courtesy. Yes, he us just that good, He is literally a godsend....I do not lie. Volvo as a whole is a great car and buying one means that you will never have to worry about your car breaking down and being stranded. This dealership is so pretty, you could actually eat off the floors in the service center if you needed to they are so clean. Armand runs a tight and tidy ship. Great place, no reason to go elsewhere. More
