The Courtesy automotive brand has been serving Phoenix customers since 1955. Courtesy Automotive in addition has a Chevrolet store in San Diego and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store in San Juan Capistrano in CA. This will be the first new store in Phoenix since 1955. Courtesy Automotive started in 1955 with the family member Ed Fitzgerald. Not long after that, William Gruwell joined the family and the business, and today leads the organization as President of Courtesy Automotive. He is joined by his two sons, Mark Gruwell, General Manager of Courtesy San Diego, Scott Gruwell General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix and his son in law, Jason Church, who is the General Manager of the new Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale.
The Courtesy family has three generations of ownership and is excited to add the VOLVO brand to the Courtesy Group. With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we look forward to serving the Valley's VOLVO customers.
Construction started in January, 2017 and with a completed store ready to open in August 2017. The family is excited to offer a full line up of new VOLVO cars and SUVs serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix and Paradise Valley areas at first. Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale will offer a complete line up of Certified Used VOLVOs, as we have a heritage of supporting and promoting the benefits of a strong Certified program to our customers.

The service department takes great care of my S60, and Jud White, my service advisor, always makes me feel like I'm the most important customer there. Dealerships are all the same and play the same games. Just when you hope you found a place that may be different. They pulled the same stuff. This isn't a comment on the people. It's really just an issue of the sales tactics dealerships employ that are dishonest and not in good faith negotiation. Luckily as a consumer I get to choose where I spend my money and I'm happy to say I found a Volvo at another dealership who didn't play games. This review was made at the end of 2022 and I expect tactics will change as the market continues to shift as dealerships will be fighting for every sale. More

Chris at service desk was great. Work done quickly (routine maintenance). But technicien changed center display and display above radio AND DID NOT RETURN TO ORIGINAL DISPLAY!
