The Courtesy automotive brand has been serving Phoenix customers since 1955. Courtesy Automotive in addition has a Chevrolet store in San Diego and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store in San Juan Capistrano in CA. This will be the first new store in Phoenix since 1955. Courtesy Automotive started in 1955 with the family member Ed Fitzgerald. Not long after that, William Gruwell joined the family and the business, and today leads the organization as President of Courtesy Automotive. He is joined by his two sons, Mark Gruwell, General Manager of Courtesy San Diego, Scott Gruwell General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix and his son in law, Jason Church, who is the General Manager of the new Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale.
The Courtesy family has three generations of ownership and is excited to add the VOLVO brand to the Courtesy Group. With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we look forward to serving the Valley's VOLVO customers.
Construction started in January, 2017 and with a completed store ready to open in August 2017. The family is excited to offer a full line up of new VOLVO cars and SUVs serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix and Paradise Valley areas at first. Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale will offer a complete line up of Certified Used VOLVOs, as we have a heritage of supporting and promoting the benefits of a strong Certified program to our customers.

Overpaid for Everything and My Car Broke Every time my car had some issue, I brought it in. I ended up spending thousands of dollars for service with you guys over four years and my car still broke. Ultimately, I had to pay $700 for a repair that you did and then you told me after that I have to pay $6,600 to fix the next problem you encountered.. Car is probably worth $5,000-6,000.. So basically I paid $700 just to know that I will never fix the car.. Lost $700 and a car worth about $5,000-6,000. And of that $700, $500 was for labor!! So I think it is very unethical to charge a customer $500 for work that didn't solve the problem. I can understand paying for the parts that you replaced. I will definitely not recommend a place that treats their loyal customers like this. More

I told Daniel my interests in a certain line of cars and he allowed me to test drive every one, telling me the in’s and out’s of each, until I had made my decision. I didn’t feel any pressure during this process and Daniel definitely took his time to make sure it was the right fit. Daniel treated us like family and I couldn’t ask for anything more. Cory Fair also helped us make my dream car a reality. He was very kind and patient throughout the process as well and was there to help us make a great deal. Small but Grand Courtesy Volvo's new store is a bit out of the way, and not terribly large, but this has its benefits more than its drawbacks. They are always available and ready to work, I show up, get a loaner vehicle (that's often nicer than my own vehicle) and leave all within a few minutes.
