The Courtesy automotive brand has been serving Phoenix customers since 1955. Courtesy Automotive in addition has a Chevrolet store in San Diego and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store in San Juan Capistrano in CA. This will be the first new store in Phoenix since 1955. Courtesy Automotive started in 1955 with the family member Ed Fitzgerald. Not long after that, William Gruwell joined the family and the business, and today leads the organization as President of Courtesy Automotive. He is joined by his two sons, Mark Gruwell, General Manager of Courtesy San Diego, Scott Gruwell General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix and his son in law, Jason Church, who is the General Manager of the new Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale.
The Courtesy family has three generations of ownership and is excited to add the VOLVO brand to the Courtesy Group. With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we look forward to serving the Valley's VOLVO customers.
Construction started in January, 2017 and with a completed store ready to open in August 2017. The family is excited to offer a full line up of new VOLVO cars and SUVs serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix and Paradise Valley areas at first. Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale will offer a complete line up of Certified Used VOLVOs, as we have a heritage of supporting and promoting the benefits of a strong Certified program to our customers.

Bait and switch I got a call from Scott Ogdie at Courtesy Volvo, offering me money for my car and wanted me to look at one I might like to buy. Once I got there, he w I got a call from Scott Ogdie at Courtesy Volvo, offering me money for my car and wanted me to look at one I might like to buy. Once I got there, he went back on his offer for my car, then went on to provide a contract that added $Thousands to the car he was selling. This was a used car he was attempting to add $Thousands for “added options”! These weren’t anything the dealer added, just his way of charging $Thousands over Kelly Blue Book for a car. Not to mention, $hundreds for “Nitrogen Tires”! I made the deal, although it was nothing like what I was promised. I actually felt dirty after talking to this con artist. I would NEVER do business with these xxxxxxxxx again! I am still disgusted by my experience with these people. Deceptive car dealers like Ogdie are nothing new, but he took it to a new level! I would advise anyone I know to never do business with any of the Courtesy dealers. I have great regret for not only buying a car from Courtesy Volvo, but selling them mine so cheaply. I was tired of the process and just gave in. They made good money off me and didn’t care how they did it. There’s a better way to do business, and this isn’t it! If you’re considering buying from Courtesy Volvo, think again. Run, don’t walk from this dealer! More

Fantastic Car Buying Experience My wife and I were unexpectedly put in the market for a new van. We searched for a couple of weeks and looked a several options before coming to Court My wife and I were unexpectedly put in the market for a new van. We searched for a couple of weeks and looked a several options before coming to Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale. We called ahead of time and spoke with Chris to make sure the two vans we saw online were still available. He informed us they were and we made the drive to the dealership. We were met by Chris and he had pulled one of the vans up for us to look at. The first van was a no go, and then we saw the van for us. It was a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country. Everyone we dealt with was super friendly and willing to work with our budget. Despite being there for a long time, our overall experience was very positive. We got the van we had been looking for and at a great price. We had the pleasure of working with two sales associates, Chris and Jacob, sales manager Jeremy and finance manager Drew. They were all fantastic. Thank you! More
