Electronic and connectivity issues, including OnStar, often involve a shared diagnostic process between the dealership and the manufacturer or service provider, as some components fall outside of dealership control and require coordination with third parties to resolve. Loaner vehicle availability is managed through manufacturer allocation and demand, which can affect wait times. Regarding the brake concern, there are instances where light brake dust or moisture can cause temporary squeaking that resolves with normal use, which is a common manufacturer acknowledged characteristic. We understand the frustration that can come with multiple visits and communication gaps, and that feedback is noted. We appreciate you sharing your experience.

Your response is typical of what I hear from your Cadillac Bee Cave service department in that they blame anyone else and do not fix the problem. OnStar has tested several times and said it is a hardware problem. Additionally, I don't think OnStar causes my dashboard to go black or stop functioning. When I first purchased the car and the was a vibration sound in the speakers, the service representative told me I was probably just on a bumpy road. I had to take the car back again and finally they told me of the known problem with a loose piece in the rear-view mirror fixture and replaced the fixture. The same with the electronics, Cadillac points to OnStar, but one service rep told me that this also is a known problem and that replacing the radio can fix it. They did not replace the radio but told me the problem is fixed. IT IS NOT! The problem has happended twice since them. I left a message for someont to call me about it. As usual, my call was not returned. If it is OnStar, Cadillac should be working to help resolve the issue. What I am hearing is that just lump it, Cadillac is not going to do anything. I have a friend who has had similar issues with her XT5 and finally just gave up and went back to Lexus to trade it in. I am likely to do the same thing. I have never in my life had this much problem with a car.
