The warranty is no longer good as the date for its expiration was from the dealership purchase not customer purchase. We bought it with 5000 miles on it. Because one was not in stock but on order, Dan suggested they glue it and when it becomes displaced again, they would work with GM in an adjustment price off the $300 future repair because this is a common problem with the XTS. It seems like GM should actually pay for the replacement as it seems like a manufacturing problem. The gasket should last longer than 4+ years. More
