I traded in my leased Jeep Wrangler at Crest Nissan of Frisco in December. The finance department, led by Ennis Gjinolli, chose to park my vehicle and turn it in as a standard matured lease rather than ex Frisco in December. They looked at my odometer and calculated a baseline, but after the vehicle was officially inspected and turned in, the finance team completely failed to call US Bank to verify the final maturity balanc Because they never bothered to verify the actual final payoff amount, their calculation completely missed a mandatory $395 termination fee and leftover account balances. Adding to the negligence, their accounting department mailed the incorrect payment check to a vacant building in Buffalo, NY, that US Bank hadn't used in over a year. I personally had to track down the error, call the bank, and give Nissan the correct address to overnight a second check. Crest Nissan shorted the bank by $883.50 due to their own poor math and failure to verify commercial lease-end fees. Now, Ennis is trying to blame me for their financial miscalculations. I expect the General Manager, Dru Kaba, to contact me immediately to pay this shortage and honor their contractual obligation to clear my trade-in. I have NEVER had a bank call me after a trade and say I still owed money! This seems like a basic for every dealership. More
