We have had a few issues with our Volvo XC90 Recharge over the two years we've been leasing it, and two of those have been directly related to the dealership. While these issues would have prompted a 1 s over the two years we've been leasing it, and two of those have been directly related to the dealership. While these issues would have prompted a 1 star review, the way the dealership chose to handle these mistakes brings it up to 4 stars. A while back, they had my car for service for several days before they could get to it. In this time, the windshield cracked and they said that the chip was already there but it just cracked while it was in the heat of the sun. The photos were not clear enough to determine if there actually was a chip or not, and there was nothing recorded on the intake form, so I made the point that if it had been the loaner car windshield that had cracked, I would be 100% responsible for it no matter what. The manager agreed and replaced our windshield at no cost. Then today, we took the Volvo to a tire store to replace the 2yr old tires, and realized that they were 20in tires instead of the 21in tires that we were upcharged for 2 years ago! Because the wheel design for the 20 and 21 inch options are identical, no one caught the mistake until now. When we brought it to their attention, GM Jason was extremely helpful and considerate. He immediately offered to make it right and replaced the tires at no cost to us to offset the original upcharge. So, while both of these incidents were entirely avoidable, Crest Volvo did what needed to be done to make up for it. I can't give 5 stars bc that indicates to me all around excellence from the start , but I am delighted to say they earned their 4 stars with excellent customer service and that's what's most important. Mistakes will be made in life, it's how we choose to make them right that counts. Well done, Crest Volvo! More
