The brakes on my four month old 2021 Sonata are not working properly. Just a light touch to the brake peddle causes the brakes to grab and stop the car abruptly. Mechanic test drove it, and said brakes were fine and there was nothing they could do with them. This is a very serious potential safety problem, particularly with icey driving conditions developing soon. Very unhappy with their failure to correct this safety problem which should be covered under warranty. I give them one star since this is the lowest grade you can give them! More
It is clear that the staff works hard at customer service and that this is a hard time to find enough employees to manage the workload. Loaner cars should be offered for any customer that has a car in service for more than a day no matter how difficult it is to find one. I won't purchase another car from this dealer, unfortunately. Originally when I called regarding using the discount from Costco no one was familiar with it telling me I could only use it if I purchased my car thru the Costco new car program. Also your service manager when asked why my service was not covered under the 100000 warranty service told me that most people buy the extended warranty. So your warranty does not mean much if u have to buy an extended warranty on a new car Most likely after buying 3 sante fe s this last purchase will most likely be our last.
