M As a first time car buyer, I really had no idea what I wanted. I had been to a few other dealerships and just had not found anything I truly loved. My dad and I decided to stop in to Criswell Acura to visit Alan Hannon to see if there were any options that fit my budget. He immediately came up with a couple different options but the Acura ILX he had available was exactly what I had been looking for. It had style but the safety and reliability I needed for my daily commute. It was then that my dad and I were introduced to Al Zayas, whom made the entire experience of the purchase of this car AMAZING. The atmosphere they create at Criswell is friendly, inviting and comfortable - extremely great salesman but even better people. I know for a fact that I will be coming back to see Mr. Zayas and Mr. Hannon the next time I have any car service or buying needs. More

Paul, the sales assosicate, knows the cars and features very well. He hustles, is friendly, and worked well with me in closing the deal. The entire staff at Criswell is well trained and helpful. I've used the service department as well and find the same quality of service. More
04 TSX 6spd Hvac light issue I took my 04 TSX in for 2 recalls, something about the ecu and power steering pump hose and asked that they repair the hvac light grid so the lights w I took my 04 TSX in for 2 recalls, something about the ecu and power steering pump hose and asked that they repair the hvac light grid so the lights would work in addition to the 2 recalls with the understanding that I'd be paying $370. just to make the havoc light work. I received my car with a scracthed steering wheel, like chunks on the right side of the wheel. Only to be accused of lying when I backed my car up and back into the doorway of the service center about a minute after pulling off. The service manager looked at it, felt it and asked if I were sure that the scratches weren't there with the car having 155k. I told him that I was xxxx SURE. he said : " I doubt that but I'll have the detail guy fix it, when can you come back, it's too late today (6pm)" I told him I'd get back to him as I lived over an hour away. On the way home my passenger noticed that the AUX wouldn't work, so I just figured that the tech didn't hook the cord back in. So.. The next day I take out the cubby hole only to find that the cord was destroyed, not to mention that I find the cubby's contents were just dumped behind my drivers seat. I called the dealer and spoke to the service manager who denied any wrong doing and said that they would assume no responsibility for said damages and pretty much dismissed me as some hoodlum and told me that the tech had noticed that 2 screws were missing from the stereo unit area and that the car had been taken apart before. So I asked why weren't the 2 stews replaced. He told me that that wasn't their responsibility. I told him that I bought the car used and found 2 screws in the console so perhaps they could use those. The manager ignored that statement and then asked to schedule a time for the steering wheel to be repaired, we set a date;. it was rescheduled. When I was finally able to take the car to the dealer, the service rep called about 2 hours later and said that the car was done and that they fixed the Aux cord adaptor. When I got back to my car, the passenger seat was scratched pretty bad, the cubby was on the passage seat with the aux cord still attached, the steering wheel looked like they had just taken a lighter to it and rub it real hard. I plug in the aux cord and it of course doesn't work. No one is there to address the issue, I call Acura, they ask me a million questions, to name names and then tell me that the car dealerships are all individually owned and that Acura USA can't assume any responsibility but can mediate for me. They called and told me that Criswell Acura wouldn't assume any responsibility and aren't able to replace or pay for the damaged cord, scratched seat, shoty job on the steering wheel and of course had no comment on why the 2 screws that I handed to the service rep weren't replaced. or the fact that the light fixture to the cubby was now missing but the bulb was replaced. After 3 failed attempts to get a return call from the manager. I decided to go public. Not because I can't afford a new aux cord, but because I was disrespected as a consumer. I chose to buy an 04, looked long and hard and got a good deal on a near perfect used car. Paid cash and started to find problems, recalls and this is what I get. I've been a Honda owner since 1989 and never been treated so poorly other than the service rep calling my mom when I peeled out of Hagerstown Honda in 1991 after being told that my brakes were supposed to squeak. We were just looking when we stopped in but were so impressed with the vehicle. The salesman (Paul) was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the MDX. The sales manager was also very easy to work with and we were happy with the deal. The finance manager was personable and very efficient. The service department installed the extras that we asked for (runningboards, mud flaps, and body side moldings) while we waited. The MDX was immaculate when we took delivery. cudos to the clean-up man, he did a wonderful job. More

When the right one with 22k miles showed up I drove right down. The car was ready, fresh out of detail. Having bought cars their before I knew the deal would be fair and it was. I drove it home the next day. Vance and Alan took all the time I needed to learn the GPS, sound system, how to work the knob etc. I can't imagine being treated any better than the way Criswell and Alan treated me.
