I got a tune up on May 7, 2021. I took my van there at 7:30am. I asked for a tune up and for them to put on the shocks I bought and had in the van. Also for them to check my steering because it is making 7:30am. I asked for a tune up and for them to put on the shocks I bought and had in the van. Also for them to check my steering because it is making a clunking noise when turn the wheel back and forth. Lorna called me and said that the van was on the lift and that the mechanic said the rack and pinion needed to be tightened but the mechanic could not do it because of the heat shield. And that they haven’t put on the shocks. So I said I needed my van and don’t worry about putting them on, this was at about 4:30pm. Well I get there and pay for my tune up and go to get in my van and when I open my door it makes a horrendous grinding noise. I close my door and see that the fender behind the tire is bent up and it was moved so much it was causing my door to hit it. I got back inside to let Lorna know and she gets the service manager and the mechanic that did the work, the mechanic’s name is Jimmy Butler. My husband got on the ground to look under it and it was obvious that Jimmy did not put the lift arm on the correct part under the van. Well we show them what is going on and Jimmy said it was like that when I brought it in, which is a lie, and that really made me mad. If he had said oh dang I’m sorry I would not have gotten mad. I take good care of my van. My husband and I did yell at him and he walked off. The service manager and another mechanic came out and got the dent out of the fender so I could close my door without them grinding together, but it chipped the clear coat off and made crack in the paint where the fender was bent. Anthony wrote me out a letter so I can get that fixed at Cronic’s expense on a Wednesday when a paint guys is there. I wish I could upload pictures and videos to show you. More
