Unskilled from technical side to customer service. Replaced a hood latch due to a recall. which caused an error on key fobs. I stated when I turned car on you did this please check whatever you did. Was told no must return (appt only) and cost to reprogram is $XXX. I returned they reprogrammed did not fix error. Hmm so I was right he just could not take the time to check on my first visit! The error was from hood latch, informed me I was in luck the cost for hood latch is same as key fob! Nope, it was free it was their fault. I lost 3 hours pay because the technician refused to check his sloppy work previously! So after I get almost home realize the lane detect and blind spot detect no longer work. I called them the next day no one wanted to speak with me. Finally admitted they had Covid outbreak no one available. Hmm I never received a call from them to tell me I had been exposed the day before when in shop???? The person who finally admitted the reason no one was in actually told me I needed to just call back. At this point I’m upset 1. they screwed up the car, 2. exposed me without telling me and in return I exposed my family and friends, and 3. the sales manager did not care or want to even hear what I was experiencing because of their workmanship. I finally apologized to him for being such a bother! Ridiculous at a minimum the sales manager while he can’t help me could have shown me empathy for my situation and listened to my complaints. I was not rude until I finally sarcastically apologized and hung up. This was a horrible and expensive experience! More
