My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday morning after attending our grandson's soccer game. I had spent some time checking small new cars online and was seriously considering a Fiat because of the resea attending our grandson's soccer game. I had spent some time checking small new cars online and was seriously considering a Fiat because of the research I had done. I even had a picture of a yellow Pop by my computer. I was going to show my husband a few of the cars that I had looked at online and by stopping by during off hours a few weeks before. When we were checking out the cars, Doug came out and introduced himself and asked us if we were interested in taking a test drive. Although I had been looking at the Pop, we liked the look of the Sport with the spoiler and the mag wheels. After an extensive test drive, he asked if we would like to run some numbers. We agreed and found ourselves in the dealership. The numbers were good and their was an excellent rebate, so we decided to go ahead and buy the yellow Fiat. Doug was easy to talk to and didn't pressure us into the sale. We came back later in the afternoon to pick up the car and it was seamless except for the paperwork required by the lawyers and the government. I love my new car and would definitely recommend Crown Fiat to anyone looking for their next Fiat. More

Don't waste your time if you need financing from the dealer. I bought a car from Crown and experienced first hand the poor integrity that they operate thier finance department with. I needed to finance dealer. I bought a car from Crown and experienced first hand the poor integrity that they operate thier finance department with. I needed to finance through the dealer because I was right out of college with no job experience despite a near perfect credit score. They made me wait in the lobby for 2 hours before they would see me about financing. During the Finance managers pitch, he explicitly stated incorrect information about payments and interest rates. He clearly did not understand amortization behavior and had no idea that I have a technical finance background. He told me that if I wanted to pay my loan off in 1/3 of the time all I had to do was triple my payments (which is incorrect). He also told me that I should have a lower down payment because it would save me money (it causes you to pay more in interest on your higher principal). I wonder how many people he has misinformed that did not have a finance background? He then told me that he could get me a better rate (by about 2%), if I got the warranty package. He said he could do it, because he had coupons that he had earned and could choose to apply. In a weak moment I got the package and within 6 hours emailed the dealership notifying them that I would like a refund on the warranty. They ignored my emails and calls. I even called the finance manager from the lobby of the dealership and physically watched him ignore the call. I then went in asking for a refund. He told me that I would be fully refunded minus a $50 fee that is charged by the warranty company. I explicitly asked if I would be refunded for everything and he said yes and that I just had to fill out his paperwork. He said I would be refunded in less than 8 weeks and the amount would be deducted from my loan balance. More than 16 weeks later I was still not refunded. This additional time cost me about $100 in additional interest due to my loan balance not being reduced. I contacted the dealership and they said they had messed up and would cut me a check. They cut me a check for over $200 less than what I paid for the warranty. When I asked them why it was less, they said one of the warranties for $199 was non-refundable despite the fact that they had previously told me it was. Even with the $199 they still shorted me. I have wasted a lot of time and experienced a great amount of disrespect despite being polite in hopes that they could accomplish what I needed them to. Don't waste your time if you need financing from the dealer. More
