Although my husband and I were not in the market for a Mercedes, Melisa assisted us with purchasing a gently used, pre-owned Honda Odyssey minivan in 2012. I purchased and paid up front for a Cadillac XLRV on the internet based upon it being "Crown Certified" and the representations made about the car from what I thought was a reputable luxury car dealer. I got a video and pictures describing a car with only normal wear and tear for it's model year and 40K mileage. At no time were any damages of defects shown or described to me. I had the car shipped to me as the price included delivery to the Houston area. Upon delivery I could not open or remove the car from the transport as the battery was dead. Crown sent the car to a local Cadillac dealer to unload and diagnose and it was reported to have a defective battery. I was able to open and inspect the car as it was now unloaded and I found it to be in extremely poor condition-broken and damaged bumper, tires worn out, trunk lid fiberglass cracked, glove box door missing, console dented and damaged etc. I refused to accept delivery of the car as it was far from what was represented. Crown subsequently wholesaled it to the Cadillac Dealer for about $4500.00 less than I paid rather than have it shipped back to them for them to attempt another sale. The dealer who purchased the car stated they would not attempt to retail it until it had undergone a complete refurbishment. Crown agreed to refund my money but withheld $1000.00 which they say is my responsibility for the transport of the car. I disagree as it would never have been shipped had they accurately represented the car's condition. They refuse to refund the $1000.00 and I would not recommend them to accurately represent any auto in their inventory. More
This is a cautionary tale of how not to buy a car from Crown Eurocars of Dublin. I contacted Crown in September 2014 through the USAA car buying service. A E350 station wagon was special ordered in Diam Crown Eurocars of Dublin. I contacted Crown in September 2014 through the USAA car buying service. A E350 station wagon was special ordered in Diamond White metallic paint and delivery was made on 12/10/13. At the time of delivery, the car was on the showroom floor and thoroughly inspected by me. The next step was to meet with the finance manager to finalize the purchase, while the car was removed from the showroom to fill the tank and install the license plates. During this time, the car was damaged by an unknown employee of Crown. The damage was discovered just as I was getting ready to leave. The salesperson indicated that Crown would get the car repaired and I would be provided with a loaner when I brought the car back for the repair. I asked for a loaner immediately as I did not want to take the damaged car with me. The salesperson responded that she wanted me to enjoy the car while Crown made arrangements to have it repaired at a top rated body repair shop. Four days later, the salesperson called and asked me to bring the car in the following week. Ten days later I was contacted and told that the car was repaired and ready to be picked up. Upon inspection, the paint does not match the surrounding areas, there was paint overspray on other parts of the auto, and a body panel is not properly aligned after removal for the repair. I am not happy that I now have a car is obviously repaired, but has fewer than 150 miles after a month of ownership. I have had the car inspected by two reputable body shops and each agree that the repaint does not match. I told the salesperson no fewer than four times that it would be almost impossible to match the Diamond White paint if it were repainted. The repair was not satisfactory and I told the salesperson that I could not accept a repainted car as "new". Her reply was, "We do not buy back any cars that have been sold." I indicated I was going to take this to arbitration since I was not buying a reconditioned, repainted car being represented as new. That's where I am today, taking this to arbitration. My advice is to carefully inspect any new car purchase and if anything (paint damage, missing options, paperwork) is out of the ordinary do not accept delivery. Tell the dealer to get it fixed and when repaired you will inspect it again to see if it is in the condition you want. I believe Crown has delivered a damaged car and has not ethically fulfilled their responsibility to deliver a new car. More

Not only was he so professional, but he just seems like a good quality guy. Those types of individuals really make a purchase like this so much easier. I never felt pressured, I always felt my purchase was important to him all the way through to the end. I explained to him before we came in to sign that I want this painless on my wife. No cross sale, no delayed signing, no waiting, no issues and he made sure everyone knew that and they were prepped. It was amazing, Craig was waiting and flew through the process. I have bought a Lexus, BMW and a Land Rover and I can honestly say, this was by far, the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Even after the closing, he spent 45 minutes with us going over the car in a very smooth and efficient presentation, even as the dealership was closing and lights were being shut off. He never made us feel rushed out the door even though I knew they were closed. Highly recommend!!! More

Doug was personable, very sharp, and professional, and systematically showed me what he had available at the dealership, explaining and demonstrating many of the features that I was unfamiliar with. Although there wasn't a vehicle at the dealership that had the specific features that I wanted, Doug worked "outside the box" searching the Northeastern part of the USA to find me what I was hoping to buy. He was able to get just the right car for me, within days. All during the process, Doug communicated with me, and went out of his way to help me, and to be sure I was very satisfied. I would highly recommend Doug Horner to anyone who is considering the purchase of a Mercedes Benz. He did a great job for me!. More
