I took my 2006 Civic in for the 10,000 mile service. From the porters who directed me to parking and brought my car back, to the young man who checked me in for the purple team, to the young lady who cashed the porters who directed me to parking and brought my car back, to the young man who checked me in for the purple team, to the young lady who cashed me out, everyone was very pleasant and very helpful. I dropped my car off mid-morning on a Saturday and it was finished by early afternoon. I was not able to pick it up until the next day, and that was not a problem at all. I was quoted $180 for the standard service but only charged $155, another pleasant surprise. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership and intend to continue doing business with them. More
I bought a vehicle from this dealership (Fairfax Honda) and 5 days later the vehicle broke down while in Philadelphia PA. It had been less than 500 miles. I had the car towed to a nearby dealership in PA and 5 days later the vehicle broke down while in Philadelphia PA. It had been less than 500 miles. I had the car towed to a nearby dealership in PA and the dealership we amazed that the car hadn't had a diagnostic servicing before it was sold. It had they would have know about the default in the car. The total service cost me $925 and it had been 5 days from purchase. I called Sales Managers Darrin Loudermilk and Dave Terrin to see what can be done. Darrin was somewhat understanding but Dave was very disrespectful and challenged me on the analysis of the dealership in PA. He then told me I had to follow up with his supervisor Michael Taylor. I have left two voice messages for Mr. Taylor and he hasn't returned my calls or messages. My next step is contacting General Manager Cary Schwab. More
this guy was horrible. he said "if thats the price you want, i dont want to waste either of our time" "i need to sell 3 cars today" "what is a reasonable profit to be made on a car?" "you cant run want, i dont want to waste either of our time" "i need to sell 3 cars today" "what is a reasonable profit to be made on a car?" "you cant run a dealership on that" overall, the experience was horrible. Car was hugely inflated and I ended up leaving after only 5-10 minutes. More
This Service Rep. Nick Naydock was extremely helpful. I have had bad experiences before with previous service centers. This gentlemen was understanding of my situation and was very patient. He was effiec have had bad experiences before with previous service centers. This gentlemen was understanding of my situation and was very patient. He was effiecent and answered all my questions in detail, and I had a lot. He made me feel comfortable and at ease, and for ONCE I felt like I was getting exactly what I needed and wasnt being taken advantage of because of my gender and age. I am definitely going back to Mr. Naydock for any service issues in the future. I would recommend him to anyone. His customer service was top notch and that is hard to find these days. More
We went to check out new Hondas and this place is just ridiculous. The people accost you as you drive into the parking lot, and they are fairly pushy. The sales people seem like hungry wolves and this is ridiculous. The people accost you as you drive into the parking lot, and they are fairly pushy. Had been to this dealer for a service last year during a cross-country trip; the Service Rep. Nick Naydock gave me a list of items to fix on my 2 year old vehicle - amounting to about 1000$ ! Luckily, cross-country trip; the Service Rep. Nick Naydock gave me a list of items to fix on my 2 year old vehicle - amounting to about 1000$ ! Luckily, I didn't heed the advise; primarily because I got suspicious about the problems that this person said my vehicle had. And no other dealer has so far mentioned about those "problems" that were mentioned by this Service Rep! More
I went over there to have fix my car, they fixed (paid a lot). In my way home, a noise was coming from the engine. I went back and they said, “sorry, you need a service schedule” everybody is busy right no lot). In my way home, a noise was coming from the engine. This is the worst dealership I have ever been to. My wife and I drove 3 in a half hours to buy a honda accord. We purchased the extended warranty which after 2 months still had not submitted to American Hon and I drove 3 in a half hours to buy a honda accord. We purchased the extended warranty which after 2 months still had not submitted to American Honda. I've had to call the dealership numerous times to get this taken care of, among other things. I found multiple items on the 150 point inspection list which they never looked at or fixed that makes the car 'certified'. I remind you that you pay around $630 for the certification, plus another $600 or so for the extended warranty. The car had brake issues, AC problems, car shook during 2nd gear acceleration, vibrated while idling, and the sunvisor was ripped. All of these things are listed on the 150 point certified check list. I imagine they didn't even look too much at the car at all. Most of the time hondas are problem free, and they probably make a stealing by charging people for the certification for a car that was never really inspected too closely. Then I found this site and couldn't believe how many people hated Fairfax Honda. I've had to make a claim with American Honda to take care of our issue with our car and the dealership. They were astounded to say the least to hear about problems I reported. It's too bad that there are stealerships like this one and gives Honda a bad name. I will NEVER go to these guys again and pleaing with you to never go there and waste your time and money!! More
If you have to take your car to Fairfax, don't leave it there. My daughter had to leave her car because the service wasn't completed. While her car was at the dealership, someone removed her installed st there. My daughter had to leave her car because the service wasn't completed. While her car was at the dealership, someone removed her installed stereo system, including speaker system. There was no evidence that the car was broken into. The dealership made a partial payment, but my daughter is still out over $400.00. Not much sympathy either. When I spoke with the dealership manager, he basically said it was our problem, that we should go to our insurance company, and he would not have even made the partial payment the service manager had offered. The only positive thing I can say of the experience is that the service manager, Mr Ortiz, was always courteous even if we disagreed. More
