High pressure tactics. This is the kind of guy who gives used car salesman the bad rep they have. Dishonest, pushy, and unpleasant, when it became clear he was dealing with an educated consumer, he walked a used car salesman the bad rep they have. Dishonest, pushy, and unpleasant, when it became clear he was dealing with an educated consumer, he walked away from a sale. This dealer in general stacks contracts with all kinds of ridiculous and unfair fees and bills--I recommend reading edmunds.com or doing a google search for basic car buying advice before dealing with any dealer, but especially these guys. Definitely avoid Fairfax Honda, and Kazim Raza especially. More
I went in for Service on my 2004 Accord and was told that I'd be out in about an hour. I figured that I could waste the time looking at the new models. The showroom was pretty empty (of salesmen). Didn’t kno I'd be out in about an hour. I figured that I could waste the time looking at the new models. The showroom was pretty empty (of salesmen). Didn’t know that ever happened. That’s when a guy who worked in there internet department greeted me. He was hands down the nicest most knowledgeable salesmen I've ever met. He was extremely professional. I told him I was just in for service and I was just looking around. I wasn’t looking to waste anyone’s time. After all they do work on commission. Any way, to make a long story short he took the time to show me the Honda Pilot and ended up selling me the thing. No pressure at all. If you’re ever at Fairfax Honda you should, you need to ask for Brian. I wasn't even looking for a new car and found the best buying experience I've ever had. That is saying a lot since I've purchased twelve cars now. The rest of the staff was just amazing. Everything went super smooth and I can't quit smiling. More
I bought my 1998 HOnda Prelude from this dealer as a brand new car and my experience was okay. My sales person was named "Z" (should have worked for Nissan) and he was wonderful. However, upon bringing brand new car and my experience was okay. My sales person was named "Z" (should have worked for Nissan) and he was wonderful. However, upon bringing my vehicle in for service I have had not one positive experience. My first experience with poor service was when the lot porter didnt know how to drive a stick shift. My car was 4 parking spots from the service door, and I offered to go get it, but they insisted that a lot porter bring it to me. After two lot porters fought over my keys, the one who broke my key chain got in my car, over revved the engine, popped the clutch and peeled the car out, he did this twice before I finally removed him from the car. The biggest slap in the face was that I was in college at the time and applied for a lot porter position. The second bad experience was when I had just had $2500 worth of after market performance parts put on my car, and was going to the dealer to have an oil change. After the service rep told me it would only be an hour I decided to check out the new models upstairs, as I walked outside I heard the sound of a deep powerful exhaust coming up Main Street, I heard it peel wheels in 2nd gear and turn around to see my Prelude doing 80mphs up Main Street (a 35 mph zone). When I went to complain to the service rep, she told me I was out of line. I will never go back there, and discouraged anyone from buying a vehicle there and especially having it serviced there.
