After extensive research for a top-notch service team and a reliable, durable, and respected automobile, I purchased my second Volvo (S40 T5) at Fairfax Imports, Inc., and am totally and utterly pleased with a reliable, durable, and respected automobile, I purchased my second Volvo (S40 T5) at Fairfax Imports, Inc., and am totally and utterly pleased with my decision. To Bryant and Alexander, in particular, I extend a public 'thank you' for making my recent experience nearly effortless and definitely enjoyable. Fairfax Imports, Inc., is obviously a leader in its class -- what an awesome team!! As for my automobile choice, my expectations are far exceeded with my new Volvo S40 T5 in terms of performance, comfort, roominess, quality, and safety features just to name a few. I highly recommend this dealership and the quality and safety only found in the Volvo. More
Just Awful... I went to Rosenthal based on this websites reviews and I was TERRIBLY dissapointed. I went to research and test drive a used XC90 and when I went into discuss numbers they said they would giv reviews and I was TERRIBLY dissapointed. I went to research and test drive a used XC90 and when I went into discuss numbers they said they would give me $6000 for my trade in. The salesman was pushy and frustrating but I took that car home because I had my newborn with me that was on the verge of a meltdown. I came back the next day to look at the new options as well. I guess he saw me from across the lot and rushed over trying to dissuade me from buying new. Ugh... Then I went in and discussed options for new cars and I had very specific guidelines and prices I was looking for. Basically, the sales manager Naseem was pushy and did not want to listen to me. And then they said they were going back on their original offer of 6000 for the trade in and would only give me 5000. It was just a terrible experience overall... I really feel that as a woman with two young kids with me, they were trying to railroad me. It was so bad that an employee walked up to me and said that I should call the General Manager and complain! You know its bad then. I did call to complain and the woman was nice that I spoke to - but when Naseem called me back he was even ruder than when I was there! He gave me an attitude because I went above his head. This was seriously one of the worst sales experiences ever and I will let everyone I know about it! It is not a mystery why people hate buying a car! Luckily, when I went to Don Beyer Dulles, they had a great sales team and bought an XC60! Ask for Pete kesterson! More
Clark is a professional and he walked me through all the issues involved with my XC-90, e.g., what needs to be changed, how much, how long, etc. And when new issues where uncovered, i was immediately infor issues involved with my XC-90, e.g., what needs to be changed, how much, how long, etc. And when new issues where uncovered, i was immediately informed and he walked me through the process, including options. Because some new issues were uncovered that impacted the time for me to get my vehicle, he offered and made arrangements for an alternate vehicle for my use. I was never in the dark on anything and was always given a heads up every step of the way. From my previous experiences, this is rare for a dealership. More

I was very impressed with the customer service (getting me a loaner - since I had to wait for some parts - in "part" (!) due to "Irene"- the hurricane.....and I can actually say, I will consider looking at Volvo's (instead of Volkswagons) when it's time for me to buy a new car! I had a potentially serious problem with the steering wheel of my 2006 S80 Volvo 4-door sedan and Clark saw to it that the problem was fixed while I waited. They also installed an air guide to the front wheel of my 2006 S80 Volvo 4-door sedan and Clark saw to it that the problem was fixed while I waited. They also installed an air guide to the front of the car and all was done in less than two hours. My appointment was made for the air guide, but the steering problem was taken care of at the same time. Excellent, professional service. This saved me from making the 36-mile trip again. More
this was my first service visit after purchasing a new vehicle at Fairfax Volvo - what a great experience! I have given this rating because I have been using Rosenthal Volvo since 1984. I am now on my second Volvo. The care, service and helpfulness of everyone there is unique. I fcontinue to find the service advisor(s) at this dealership give honest service advice and the service team does quality work. Chris is a particularly excellent service advisor. Also, Geronimo, who shuttles owners to/from a location if they would rather not wait for their car while it is in for service and will be going 5 miles or less, is always very friendly. I appreciate that they remember me also. In addition, the last time I brought my car in for a problem, Chris did a look under the hood and found a hose detached and I was on my way in minutes (knowledgeable and for no cost). More
