Do not go to DCH Acura Montclair EVER! !! If I could give them 5 or more negative stars. I bought a used car from them not a week ago and I didn’t drive 2 miles and there were already probl !! If I could give them 5 or more negative stars. I bought a used car from them not a week ago and I didn’t drive 2 miles and there were already problems. There was a rumbling sound from the rear as well as a clicking sound from the front. That wasn’t there when I test drove the car. I immediately reached out to my salesman and he told me to make an appointment with the service department which I did. The appointment was for last Monday morning and the service advisor told me there was a diagnostic fee of $250.00. I told her I would not pay it because I wasn’t informed of a change especially since the noise occurred less than 10 minutes after I drove away. I spoke to one of the managers who informed me that the car was sold as is with no warranty. The sales manager told me he would go and show me the repair records and what needed to be done. He never came back instead he sent the salesman back to say he would show me the car fax which I already had seen and made no mention of an oil leak from the front axle or anything about the rumbling sound. Who knows what else they hid from me or any other unsuspecting buyer. If I knew this before I spent my hard earned money on this vehicle and don’t have extra money to fix the problems that should have been disclosed before this happened not 10 minutes after leaving the show room. If there are any other DCH Montclair Acura buyers that have had any issues with this dealer feel free to me. I am planning on taking this to higher authorities unless they fix this unsafe car. All I’m asking for is them to fix this before y get into an accident. In the meantime STAY AWAY FROM DCH MONTCLAIR ACURA. More

I have done everything possible to avoid writing this review, but this dealership has simply left me no choice. I had seen a vehicle for sale online that I was interested in. When I inquired with the review, but this dealership has simply left me no choice. I had seen a vehicle for sale online that I was interested in. When I inquired with the dealership, the sales woman I initially spoke with was rude, had a bad attitude and was passive aggressive. She also lied telling me that they wouldn't sell me the car anyway because they don't ship. If I had accepted her answer, I would have never bought the car, as she was literally trying NOT to sell me the car. I have purchased over 30 cars and I have never known a dealership that wouldn't allow the car to be shipped to me if I was arranging and paying for shipping. I asked to speak with a manager who informed me that they would indeed ship the vehicle (of course). However, every step of the purchase process from that point forward was me being proactive, calling and emailing multiple times without a response or delayed response and I literally willed this transaction into happening. I can only imagine how many customers have given up when they receive such poor customer service and communication. Even my experience with the finance manager. I completed the forms and never heard from him again. No congratulations for being approved, no next steps...nothing and trying to reach him multiple times be phone, never receiving a call back or even a text. Not to mention that the salesperson originally told me I could use my own financing, only to be told by the finance manager that they wouldn't allow me to use my own financing and that I had to finance through them, because I was paying such a low price. Unbelievable. Skip forward to the present. I purchased the vehicle about a month ago and the license plates expired this past week. Again sending multiple emails and making phone calls, none of which are returned. Today alone I have sent 2 emails and called about 15 times and haven't talked to or received a call back from anyone (the receptionist actually put me on hold, hung up on me and then no one answers when I call back). Now I have a Jaguar that I can't legally drive because the temp plates are expired and no one's telling me the status of when (if) I will receive the actual plates or offering to send me another temp plate until the actual plates arrive. So, I am sitting here in the dark with no idea when/if they will be sending plates or when I'll be able to drive my car. I am in the top 6% income in the country with an almost perfect credit rating. Not that this should be a factor, as everyone deserves good service and communication. Nonetheless, I should have been their dream customer, but this has become the worst car buying experience I've ever had. I cannot suggest strongly enough for any potential buyers to stay far away from this dealership. The thing is, if they had just returned my calls/emails and let me know the status of my plates, I was willing to just move on and even though my experience has been terrible, never write this review. Sadly, with no one communicating or returning any of my calls/emails or providing a status, I have no choice but to write such a review and am even planning to consult my attorney. I have never had to take such actions, but this dealership simply doesn't care once they get your money. Buyer beware... More
