What initially started as a very friendly and positive experience with a car dealership quickly went downhill! The issue involved the handling of a leased vehicle which was turned in to DCH Montclair Acu experience with a car dealership quickly went downhill! The issue involved the handling of a leased vehicle which was turned in to DCH Montclair Acura with the expressed assurance that DCH would handle the administrative and payoff issues. After tendering what I consider to be a substantial downpayment, I discovered that not only was the matter handled at a snail's pace, but it ended up costing even more money. I ended up being charged an acquisition fee and had to be faced with the frustration of repeated "this is an attempt to collect a debt" calls from the lessor alleging that not only was the car not turned in but there was a balance due. Almost two-months later, DCH Montclair Acura has not been forthcoming to take the responsibility for this blunder. The manner is which my issues has been handled is tantamount to dishonesty, poor salesmanship and what I consider to be an over-aggressive attempt to take complete advantage of an elderly consumer.
