Purchased a used Honda Odyssey a few months ago. Soon after purchase, check engine light came on. Turns out that the vehicle needed new catalytic converters. They made it very clear that replacing them is a courtesy and I purchased the vehicle as is. They said the vehicle had 2 catalytic converters. Once I had the opportunity, I took the vehicle for an inspection. Vehicle has 3 catalytic converters, and that only 1 looks like it was changed. Their "courtesy" is a requirement by law. They sold me a vehicle that wouldn't have passed smog and by law, they are responsible. AND there is over $6,000 worth of maintenance that needs to be done. Let me be clear - MAINTENANCE. Nothing that would have been covered under a warranty had I purchased one through the dealership. Motor mounts, timing belts, oil leaks, etc. The cost of getting all this maintenance done is HALF the balance of the loan. Update: I emailed Karla as per her request. No response. And guess what? The car was in worse shape than the preliminary inspection uncovered. The vehicle needs major engine repair. Repairs/completing the maintenance would be over $10,000 AT LEAST. I showed up to this dealership, pregnant and with my two kiddos, one with a disability. And they sold me a used vehicle knowing upon their inspection, complete with a reminder when they changed the catalytic converter, that the vehicle was in bad shape. We are a one car family. Being without a vehicle would be more than devastating. And paying over $10,000 on vehicle repairs/maintenance just doesn't make sense. This isn't how you treat people More

While waiting for my car in service I went to see the new Cross. Seth offered me a test drive and I’m glad I did because the ride was better then I expected. I’ve been shopping around for weeks looking at used Camry options and came across several I liked at Torrance Toyota. When I stopped by to check them out I told the salesman I wasn’t buying today but wanted options and came across several I liked at Torrance Toyota. Hopefully the car is still available when I’m ready to buy because it seemed to be a good price and lower miles which I liked. Seth was patient with me so I’ll be back for sure. He was helpful offering me a test drive and answering my questions about the different options they had. More

Nobody greeted us when we arrived to look at the car we had chosen. But worst of all was the sales person who knew nothing it was the most apathetic car salesman we have ever seen. In fact, while we were looking at the car he was standing about 50 feet away looking at his phone. Then, to top it off a stranger walked up to us who has his car service there and told us don’t buy anything at the dealership, they are the very worst. Do I need to say more. RUN from this dealer! I was made aware by my mechanic that the used Camry I bought from this dealer was sold to me with tires that were 4 years older than the car itself. When the tires started consistently losing air, I tried addressing this with the dealer. The manager deflected my calls and told me he'd call after the first of three in-person visits because "those records were on a different system"- no call. Three voicemails to their customer service rep- she never replied. On my last visit, after trying to deal with me exclusively through the receptionist, the manager finally came out and told me with a big smile that the tires they sold me were within legal limits of wear and tear at the time of sale, but he'd be happy to now sell me new ones. When I told him that one of those same tires had just blown out three blocks from their dealership (!) and asked for assistance, he shrugged and said, "Call AAA" before walking away. More
After listing a car for a specific price, and my contacting them to make an appointment to come down the very next day to purchase at that price, $12,888, they relisted it at $1000 more the followin contacting them to make an appointment to come down the very next day to purchase at that price, $12,888, they relisted it at $1000 more the following morning, and then would not respond when i contacted them until it was too late for me to change my plans. I have received numerous robo-generated emails from them in follow up. There is more, but don't want to waste my time on a poor company like this, read my google review... Avoid them at all costs...
