Bought a 2023 F150 Lightning in January. Several promised phone calls were not returned, title and registration were months in the waiting and I could go on and on. That being said about the dealership, the Lightning itself is not ready for prime time in any respect especially with regard to the electronic software. Several of the features do not work or are unreliable; sometimes they do and sometimes they do not. Many of the features of the truck require subscriptions from 3rd parties including a "required" subscription to ATT that should be totally unnecessary with wifi in the garage and a hotspot on my phone when away. NEVER, NEVER buy a 2023 Ford Lightning. Guaranteed, you will regret it. The software in some respects is improving but others are getting worse. There are constant reminders that one should use voice commands while driving. Not only is voice recognition a joke, some commands require another subscription. I could go on but my blood pressure is already beginning to rise. But let me not forget, if you live in a cold climate or one that's just temperate like Oregon, your mileage will be a fraction of the truck's specification in winter time. The vehicle being of such new technology, the quality of the dealership's service center was very important to us but given the sales experience, we will Never, Ever deal with Damerow Ford again. I bought a new F-150 on June 2,2023. Shipped it to alaska. Never recieved title and registration for it till September 6, 2023. They tried sneaking in a 4k price hike of car at closing. They did not ho or the sale price, which according to Oregon law, they have sell the car at that price. Our 2017 Ford Expedition had a headlight out yesterday and we are leaving the state with our camper on Thursday. Today we brought in our Explorer for a routine oil change and transmission service. We were told the trani fluid was so filled with shavings and they refused to service it and it probably wouldn't make it ou and transmission service. Also, our car was functioning when we brought it in, but now. multiple malfunctions not related to the transmission kept us from driving to another shop. After telling not one but two advisers we were told that it wasn't on them. So we popped the hood and the air cleaner was not mounted. Suprise, now the car works, and we drove to Ammaco, and they found no shavings in the trani fluid, just needed to be serviced. I have been a customer of the shop for years and it just shocks me the absence of customer care they displayed today. More
The salesman Steve Huffman made my car buying experience very nice! Beware buying from this dealership. My son ordered a new Maverick pickup in October with an expected delivery date of February. Every time he checked on the status, he was told delay wa My son ordered a new Maverick pickup in October with an expected delivery date of February. Every time he checked on the status, he was told delay was caused by supply problems. This was a lie. After he recently called Ford directly, he found out that the dealership never submitted his order. When he contacted the dealer again, they finally admitted the mistake but won’t do anything to expedite getting him the car he ordered 8 months ago. They expect him to wait several more months and have offered no compensation for their serious mistake. More
