To any and all car shoppers, especially if you are looking for a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle - two words - Steve Mortati. And before I explain why he is terrific, let me note something you will find o looking for a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle - two words - Steve Mortati. And before I explain why he is terrific, let me note something you will find odd - I didn’t actually buy a car from Steve. The only reason was their not being an Audi in their CPO inventory that fit what I was looking for, and I needed to make a purchase pretty quickly. More on that in another review on a different Audi dealer where my buying experience was very disappointing. But back to Steve. If you are reading dealerrater.com reviews you are either car shopping or incredibly bored and have nothing better to do with your time. If you’re shopping you probably agree with me that it’s not a lot of fun, even if you’ve educated yourself through websites like Edmunds and other advice and pricing sources. Once you start to call or walk into dealerships it can become an intimidating, and more important as a buyer, confusing experience. I’ve learned that many (actually most!) car sales folks don’t know their own car models and options well, aren’t at all straight-forward about costs, and often seem to think they are doing you a favor by working with you. Steve, on the other hand, 1) asks the right questions (what are you looking for?, any “must have” options?, what have you looked at?, have you seen or driven xxx car? 2) demonstrates he actually listened to your answers by providing you with valuable information about what’s in his inventory, where pricing is in the market for CPO cars, why a CPO car offers real value to the buyer (amazing how many sales people don’t even talk about that!), and what might be a viable Plan B if he doesn’t have what you want currently available. And 3) follows up and stays in touch. I was in touch with Steve on the phone, via texts, and through email over the course of three weeks of shopping and he was always quick to respond, providing accurate information on prices and availability, and really made the car buying experience a pleasant educational process. I already wish I could return the Audi I bought and start over again with Steve. Again, more in another review on that, but it has nothing to do with Audi quality or the car I bought, and everything to do with the dealer. When I found what I needed at this other dealer I told Steve I’d be buying a car from another dealer (not in CT) and he was great. Wished me luck, said to call if I needed anything, and said he hoped he see me again when I was in the market. Class and professionalism. I wish I could have waited for new CPO inventory, but I just couldn’t do that. My advice to anyone shopping Audi that’s within 100 miles of Danbury is to connect with Steve first. I have a Jeep that’ll last another year and then I’ll be right back to Steve. And this time I’ll be buying from Audi of Danbury. If this sounds like a fake plug, it’s not. But if you still are skeptical just give Steve a call. You’ll see what I mean. To sum up a really long review - find a sales person you trust and work with a quality dealership. More

We walked into Weeks to look at a specific vehicle. The sales specialist Ron was super friendly and knowledgeable about their products.
