I called the dealership about an advertised vehicle online. James Comeau was my first contact. He was very friendly and helpful. James referred me to a sales manager Mark Lockman. Upon my arrival to Darlings Honda I was introduced to the sales manager David Noto and the other staff who would make our night a most memorable one! We took a test drive with Mark and had ice cream while we waited. Mark was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable about their product. Having no money for a down payment our financial manager Dustin White fought hard for us to acquire a loan. We had success! That evening we drove out of Darlings with a 2016 Honda civic! A Decade Later In 2009 my husband and I visited Darlings Nissan with the hopes of buying a Nissan Rogue. Unfortunately, all we left with that day was a bad taste in our mouth. Each and every person we encountered made us feel less and less welcome. Darlings was unwilling to work with us on the price of the vehicle. They lowered it by a few hundred dollars, we felt insulted. We left Nissan that day vowing to never return. 10 years later my husband suggests that we look at a few Nissan’s in Bangor and then head to Central Maine to purchase it. Begrudgingly I agreed, but I was not happy about it. That is the day we met Sarah Bowie and she changed our entire opinion of Darlings Nissan. Sarah not only made us feel welcome, but she went above and beyond to make this sale happen. She repeatedly went after multiple vehicles(in the freezing cold) for us to test drive, she worked out deals while we were gone and had an incredible knowledge of the vehicles. Sarah made us feel important, like we mattered. Even two days later when we hit a few bumps in the road, Sarah continued to go to bat for us. Our experience didn’t stop there, every person we came in contact with went out of there way to help us and make us feel welcome. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for personal service, but if you really want someone to “get” you... ask for Sarah Bowie. More
