On 1/23/13 I went out looking for a nice vehicle for my young daughter. I love Nissans so i decided to make a stop at Nissan World of Dartmouth. When i went into the dealership my daughter and I were kin young daughter. I love Nissans so i decided to make a stop at Nissan World of Dartmouth. When i went into the dealership my daughter and I were kindly greeted by a sales person by the name of Brian Ponte. Brian took the time to find out what was important to us in the new vehicle. After sometime at the dealership Brian was able to find the right car to fill our needs and one that was affordable to us. I have never had such a great experience at a dealership before. My daughter has had a smile from ear to ear since then and this makes me extremely happy. The vehicle i purchased did come from New Jersey I saw as well since Brian showed me the CARFAX and its a really nice car. One owner and has had no accidents. My daughter loves her new car and Brian was wonderful to work with. Thank you Brian and Nissan World of Dartmouth for everything. You guys are great! More
Go somewhere else to buy your Nissan vehicle. I wish someone had told me this before I went to Nissan of Dartmouth, but hopefully you can learn from my experience. I should have read the clues when I looked around the dealership and saw chipped tiles on the floor, water stains on the ceiling, and peeling paint on the walls. Any place that doesn't take care of its appearance is unlikely to take care of the details of the sale. Every step of the process was met with incompetence and frustration. In all fairness, I dealt with Kayla Whipp for part of the transaction who tried hard. That said, the day I came to pick up the vehicle she kept me waiting for 45 minutes because, as I was told by someone working there, "she was in a sales meeting." Never mind that I said I'd be there at 9am to pick up the vehicle. I guess a sales meeting was more important than a sale. The vehicle was not inspected by the dealership and it took 3 weeks for them to send me the registration so I could get my inspection sticker(at one point I called and was told it had been returned to them and they were resending it. So...they can't even get mailing right?) I spoke with the sales manager mid-way through the dreadful experience and he talked about "making things right" but it turned out to be a lot of hot air and bluster. This is by far the worst automobile purchase experience of my life- I'd never go back here again for anything, and I encourage you to skip this turkey of a dealership and purchase your vehicle at some of the excellent Nissan dealerships in MA. It's a shame that Nissan makes such great vehicles but allows a terrible dealership like this to sully their reputation. Live and learn.... More
I am very pleased and more than happy with the service I had last week from Nissan. I had gone in with my husband just to look at the new 2013 Pathfinder and ended up buying a 2012 Juke. I am extremely happy with my new car, I had wonderful help from Brian who helped me decided which car I felt comfortable with. I wasn't exactly planning on buying but Brian made me comfortable with the payment plan so I was convinced. He knew exactly what he was talking about which made it easy for me to decide on getting a new car now. Lewie was also so pleasant and kind to my husband and I. He made us feel confident with our decision. They were both wonderful guys to work with and I honestly couldn't be happier. Thanks a lot! I would for sure go back again just knowing that I will be greatly taken care of. More

Brian Ponte, Sales, showed us several autos and explained the logistics and features of the Mazimas and Altimas. We found Brian to be very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and patient with us. We did not feel pressured into purchasing a vehicle at all and ended up purchasing a 2013 Altima. We are very pleased with the Altima and the negotiated price we agreed on. Brian was truly exceptional and followed up with us after the purchase of the vehicle to see if we had any questions. He even did research for us on how to connect the auto remote to our garage door. We would highly recommend Brian to our family and friends for future business. Nissan World of Dartmouth should be very proud to have Brian Ponte as an employee. I will never walk into NissanWorld of Dartmouth again. They played head games with me for 30 days, saying they would honor the back back voucher for my Maxima and in the end, did not. My experience started out as any other my girlfriend and I pulled into the dealership looking for a new vehicle to purchase in the near future. We walked around for a bit then we were greeted with a salesma I pulled into the dealership looking for a new vehicle to purchase in the near future. We walked around for a bit then we were greeted with a salesman by the name of Jerry. He was nice and helpful but we were just looking at the time so we didn't sit down and talk numbers. A week or two later Jerry gave me a call to check up on how we were doing and asked if we would like to stop by so we did. We were interested in a new pathfinder but weren't able to reach an agreement so Jerry showed us some used vehicles on the lot that we took a liking to and again weren't able to reach an agreement. so the manager told us he would contact us if a vehicle he thought would fit our needs and budget. A week or so later I received a call from another salesman named Jason who had told me that Jerry was no longer at the dealership and that he would get us into the vehicle we wanted. So we went in and sat down with Jason. We explained that we couldn't come to an agreement with the pathfinder so he said he would go talk to his manager and come back. When he came back he explained it couldn't happen because I have less than perfect credit which is no ones fault except mine. So he showed us another vehicle a 2012 Nissan versa hatchback. The vehicle was for my girlfriend she took it out for a test drive and liked it. So we started to talk numbers we reached and agreement and filled out the paper work. It was on a Friday and with it being Veterans Day weekend the vehicle couldn't be registered until Tuesday. I asked for veteran plates and they told me it wouldn't be a problem they had the veteran plates at the dealership I just needed to turn in my dd214. So Saturday we go in to turn in what we needed to. Sunday Jason calls and says I need to turn in a form for the rmv to acquire the veterans plates not a problem I went online and printed out the form and turned it in that day. Tuesday rolls around and Jason calls and tells me that its looking like the vehicle will be registered Wednesday again not a problem. Wednesday Jason calls me and tells me I gave him the wrong form and the rmv won't accept it. So me beginning to get fed up I say forget it just give me regular plates ill get the veterans plates another day. It's now Thursday afternoon and I haven't heard from Jason so I call and can't get a hold of him. The receptionist asks if I'd like to leave a message and I reply with yes tell Jason if my car isn't registered by today he can keep it. Not even 2 minutes later Jason calls and says I need to come in to the dealership. I go to the dealership and he tells me that stock numbers on the keys have been switched so instead of filling out paper work for the versa hatchback I filled out paper work for a versa sedan of less quality. So Jason shows me the sedan and tries to convince me it's a better suited vehicle for my girlfriend. My girlfriend disagrees and says she wants the hatchback so to try and deter us Jason tells us it's more money for the hatchback. I reply with that's not my problem I want the same deal and it should be made the same deal for our inconvenience. Of course they disagree but we eventually come to an agreement. By this time the rmv is closed and its to late to register the car. So they have us a rental and said they would inspect the car and deliver it. Friday around 10am Jason calls my girlfriend and tells her it's all set so she heads to the dealership. When she gets there the car still hasn't gotten its inspection so she had to wait on it. When she finally gets the car and gets in it the car smells like someone had been smoking in it. I didn't bother complaining because I was tired of getting the deer in headlights look with no straight answers. I'm sure this mess doesn't happen often there but because of this experience I will never recommend this dealership and I will never go back in the future to purchase another vehicle. More
