Dave Gill Chevrolet, located in Whitehall near Port Columbus Airport, has been proudly serving Central Ohio as a family-owned dealership since 1982. When Dave and Nancy Gill purchased Avery Pontiac that year, the dealership was among the oldest automotive dealerships in the country. Later, Dave Gill Pontiac added a GMC franchise and began selling new trucks. But the biggest change for the dealership came in March 2009, when Dave Gill purchased a Chevrolet franchise. Dave Gill Chevrolet was born. In June 2011, Dave Gill became the first dealership in Central Ohio to adopt Chevrolet's new image for its retail stores. The showroom, customer lounge area, restrooms, and service drive have been completely renovated, making Dave Gill the most modern and exciting retail space for Chevrolet customers in the region.

Generally, I am apprehensive about the online inquiry processes for follow up sales. Internet Joe's preliminary email informing me of the process, demeanor and no pressure, get-to-know-your-needs approac processes for follow up sales. He made the process focused on finding the best vehicle to suit my needs. He was genuinely invested in the process from the start and carried that attention from start to finish. As has never been my experience in car buying, the process was quick painless and enjoyable, especially for this pensive, analytical shopper. I realize that coming in as a GM Supplier Discount recipient may not result in the same direct financial returns as someone coming off the street, but I was never treated as such. Joe strove to earn my business, going above an beyond to providing me options to getting me the hidden rebates available. Mr. Plants is a valuable asset to Dave Gill and exhibits the values and customer service that has built and maintained the Dave Gill Chevrolet reputation. The principle reason I purchased the 2010 Tahoe vehicle was because of the dealership internet program. I was looking for a specific color vehicle and the internet photo's provided me the ability to view was because of the dealership internet program. We bought our pickup truck at Dave Gill Chevrolet several years ago and because the service has been so outstanding we decided to go back to the dealership and buy a new Equinox. Although we were there for s years ago and because the service has been so outstanding we decided to go back to the dealership and buy a new Equinox. Although we were there for several hours on a Monday evening that is not a negative comment because we greatly appreciate the amount of time that the whole team spent with us. The Dave Gill team was involved in test driving and selecting the right vehicle for us and also the negotiation of possible trade-ins and financing options. We greatly appreciate how thorough and comprehensive the team was in helping us figure out all the "bells and whistles" on the Equinox. i,ve been buying cars for 50 years and the experiance i had at dave gill chevy was fantastic ! I live in cleveland ohio and i traveled to columbus to buy a chevy because of the deal and service i received had at dave gill chevy was fantastic ! I had to return for a repair that a dealer in medina ohio would not take care of, they said i shoul return to my selling dealer for the engine repairs they blew off. But in returning to dave gill for service was worth the drive there it was fantastic just like the purchase experiance. I will and have been refering anyone who needs a chevy to them and Joe Plantz.
