We were thinking of buying a Nissan Altima after our first visit to St Louis Honda. We had test driven a Civic and a Crosstour but were not excited about the colors we saw in the lot. However, when Rob called me to see if we needed anymore information a few days later we admitted that we were really interested in a bright red Altima 6 cyl Coupe. He said "That's great, but we have a bright red Honda Coupe with a 6 Cyl coupe on our other lot. Let me pick it up so you can compare it. Since Rob had been so friendly without being the least bit pushy I felt obligated to go back to St Louis honda before we bought the Altima. Well, you probably know the rest of the story... My wife and I both fell in love with the Accord. It was Redder, sportier, and a better value for about the same price. We got such a great price we felt guilty. Rob also helped us save $200 on the extended warranty package, so we decided to do something special for Rob. My wife makes custom jewelry so we gave a few pieces to Rob for his two daughters. We had a wonderful experience with our salesman, Rick. He did a great job at finding out exactly what we were looking for and finding an acceptable vehicle for us. We pulled into the dealership at 6pm (closing time) on a Sat night for the test drive. After driving the van we told Rick that we wanted this van and wanted to take it home that night. He looked a little surprised, but quickly jumped into action to get the paperwork going. Rick, his boss and the finance person all stuck around until we finished the completion of our sale. We took the van home with us that night. We left the dealership at 7:30pm. The staff members that were there were extremely polite and never made us feel rushed in the least bit. I was very impressed by this. I had some questions a couple of days after driving the van, so went to the dealership and Rick was more than happy to take the time to walk me through the features in question and answer all my questions. Workng with Dave was very easy and there was no pressure to get me to buy. The 1st time Dave spent about 1 hr with me explaining the options and going on a test drive. The next week, Dave spent about 3 hours with me on filling out paper work, getting an estimate on my trade in and closing the deal on a 2010 Accord. Going to St. Louis Honda was not a job but a pleasure. Working with Ivo on the leasing contract was very easy. Everything was explained in detail and all questions were answered in a manner that you could understand. Total time with Ivo was less than 1 hr. All personal at St. Louis Honda were friendly and willing to help in any way they could. If you are interested in a Honda, I would recommend St. Louis Honda, and asking for Dave Gierse. I found STL Honda on-line and upon looking at all their great comments and customer ratings I knew this was the place for us.
