I stopped by St. Louis Honda just to test drive the Accord Crosstour. I had narrowed my search down to a Nissan Murano or the Honda car. Mike was very easy to work with and knowledgable about the car I was interested in. I explained to Mike how I like to handle car purchases and he worked with me on my terms. This was by far the best experience buying a new car I have ever had. Actually, I dislike buying cars because of the usual pressure game. Not so with this dealer. We recently bought a 2011 Honda Pilot and couldn't have had a better experience. Sam was very friendly before, during, and after our purchase. The dealership was very professional. I worked only with Gary so there was no high pressure sales manager pushing me to make a quick decision. My experience with St. Louis Honda and its sales staff was, overall a very good one. I am a graduate student so am young and still fairly naive when it comes to big life decisions. I was not tricked into buying something that I didn't need and I certainly did not pay too much for what I wanted and subsequently got (utilitarianism and budget-mindfulness are key on a teaching stipend). I've been dealing with Rob Carroll at St. Louis since 1999. He is the best salesman that I've ever worked with -- friendly, not high pressure, gives lots of information, etc. I just bought a 2010 Insig 1999. He is the best salesman that I've ever worked with -- friendly, not high pressure, gives lots of information, etc. I just bought a 2010 Insight to replace my 2000 Accord (yes, I'm a Honda girl!), which was a total loss when a Casey's tanker (tractor trailer) truck ran over the front of it while making a left-hand turn from the right-hand lane! I've worked with Rob on 3 new cars throughout the years and I will continue to work with him, and send him referrals, because he is a salesman to be trusted! In addition, St. Louis Honda Service Department is wonderful -- I'm always satisfied with the wait time and amenities when I service my vehicles. I highly recommend my salesman and my dealership to anyone! More
I drove 40 minutes after work to St Louis Honda to look at a new Odyssey. After finding the Odyssey model I was interested in I went into the showroom to find a salesperson. It was model year clearance and there were several customers already being helped, but no salesperson was free. Shan Herwig(Business Development Manager) introduced herself and immediately went to work helping me. After buying several cars over the last 20 years I have never had a more friendly, helpful, no-pressure salesperson. I was prepared for the inevitable price haggling, but Shan came back with a price that was less than I was planning to spend. Sam reviewed all of the features and controls with me while I was waiting for the finance department. Both Shan and Sam stayed over 2 hours after closing to make sure I was a satisfied customer. Thank you Shan and Sam for making my car buying experience an enjoyable one. I will recommend St Louis Honda and Shan Herwig to all my friends and family. More
