I am in sales also, have been since 1990 selling million+ dollar homes. I have a variety of clients, all income levels and everyone gets treated the same, always. Eric indicated the ratings go as high as a 5 but I want you to know we would never give you a 5, because you deserve a 10+. Your honesty and sincerity came through the entire time. You kept us informed, got back to us, never left us hanging but really it came down to your honesty. Believe in Karma, always, always put your customer first, money second....no matter what you are told and you will be extremely successful. I am speaking from experience here so I know first hand how it works! I have been in real estate since 1990. You didn't know us, we called you on the phone and our purchase took place over the phone BUT you took care of us as if we were purchasing the most expensive vehicle on the lot, which we weren't. You wanted to get us what we wanted....not what you wanted us to have. SO important! Always believe in what you are selling, the product will sell itself! Remember that, don't ever sell anything you don't believe in....ever! Remember knowledge is key, know everything you can about what you are selling and don't be afraid to EVER say you don't know but that you will find out. Your knowledge of the vehicles you sell is incredible and we were impressed. Knowledge is key! You never made excuses...Buyer's hate that! You're human, call it like it is, again a Buyer is looking for honesty. Always be humble to your fellow workers and always towards the customer. It will never matter to a Buyer or co-worker how much money you make, the kind of house you live in or the car you drive....this should only matter to you. It comes down to the knowledge you have of what you are selling and your honesty....don't ever lose sight of that. You took all the time with us we needed. You never rushed us. You answered all our questions. Remember you sell cars every day but people don't buy cars every day like they do groceries. Remember it is quality and quantity follows. You are on an excellent career path. We were so pleased to deal with you because we always felt you were telling us the truth. We are both almost 64 years old and can spot a typical car salesman a mile away. You are different and Dave Smith should be very happy you are working for them. You will continue to keep their good name and reputation....that is priceless! Had agreed to price features etc on phone previously since we were far away. Had been looking for a truck for about a year. Every time we went shopping in person near home we either received- no customer service what so ever, OR WORSE high pressure tag team , we don’t have what you want ,let’s get you into something else. Really ???we knew what we wanted. A good deal and RESPECT & Great customer service? After all your spending a lot of $$$$$. We got that at Dave Smith. a great deal and RESPECT as a customer!Our salesman was Al Datori and he was great, found what we wanted when advertised truck was already sold, quickly and with no pressure or distracting tactics. The price was great, and beat Portland area dealers by a lot. Took care of everything. When we got there, we test drove the vehicle, he showed us all the features, helped with Bluetooth & our phones, a issue for us, without reading a thick Manuel.
