Based on my income, I was prepared to for go a vehicle rather than go beyond what I believed I could responsibly afford. The credit manager assured me that he could make it work. I was to receive a check to balance the difference for one year, then see him immediately after making my 12th payment. I went to see him and he sent someone else out to inform me that I was on my own. I am not saying to avoid them, just do your homework, and don't be afraid to walk out if the terms are not what you can work with. After all, you are the one with the loan payments. More
