I recently visited David Stanley Dodge in Midwest OK and test drove a 2014 white dodge charger Vin# 2C3CDXBG5EH187831. While test driving the car the vehicle it began to vibrate excessively while making a roaring noise. The engine light came on and the car smelled of smoke and burning oil. We immediately returned the vehicle to the dealer’s lot where the salesman asked if I still wanted to purchase the vehicle. I get the distinct feeling from the dealership that this car will be sold without the purchaser being made aware of these issues with this car. It has also been suggested to me by other Dodge dealers in the area that it is not above this dealer to sabotage the test drive so they can “up-sell” you to a “better” more expensive car. In my opinion David Stanley Dodge never had any intentions of selling me the car at their advertised price on AutoTrader.com or at the price me and their salesman had agreed to which included their excessive DOC fee of $465.00. Their end game at David Stanley Dodge is to force you to purchase add-on’s and/or excessively markup financing. They prey on people who can’t get into a vehicle any other way so they are desperate to fall for their tricks. If you go to David Stanley Dodge with cash and you do not fall for purchasing any of their add-on’s you won’t leave their dealership with the car purchased at the advertised price. In my opinion this is a despicable dealer and Dodge should be ashamed to have this type of dealer in their network. More
I did not require specific service as vehicle was new. However I did need assistance in removing soft-top from inside as delivered by factory. Instructions for this were pretty much non-existent. Not only did Luke help me out by performing the work, but had me watch to know the tricks. He was also very knowledgeable on jeeps as I had other general type questions. I would not hesitate to ask for Luke on each visit. It's a shame the sales saff wasn't as knowledgeable! But that will be another review in that section. 5 stars for Luke and service. More
