Weird Bait Tactic I came across a Facebook post claiming they are paying $4000 above kbb trade-in value. I was of course skeptical as $4k above trade-in, would mean the dealership is losing money or breaking even on your trade. So if they are losing money on the trade, they need to make it up somewhere. I commented on their post and they messaged me. I verified if its true they are offering $4k more than trade value? They said yes it’s accurate. I asked if its one of those dealership games like you can’t get rebates or online pricing if you accept the $4k offer. They said no, you can get both their advertised pricing and $4k more on trade. I still figured this was some stupid dealership bait tactic but thought I’d go and find out. So they set me up with a noon appointment and the dealership and told me to ask for “buyback Billy” lol. I got to the dealership and asked for “Buyback Billy.” The salesman looked at me like I was stupid. Either way I wanted to check out a couple Wranglers. I wanted to test drive a V6 vs the V4, and test drive the hardtop vs the soft-top. Their website shows they have a lot of inventory. But they only have a few on their lot. Most their inventory is in transit (new 2020’s) or on an overfill lot they have at a separate location. So they only had a couple of wranglers on the lot that met the characteristics I wanted to check out. They set me up with a salesman and we took out a V6 hardtop. Although this Wrangler was “new,” it had 5k miles on it. We got back and were going to take out a soft-top V4, but they couldn’t find the keys for it. So I was never able to actually test drive a soft-top. At this point I needed to get back to work soon and just told them I want to get the trade-in estimate. They finally sat me down at a table to get information. All they needed was my car info and to take a look at it. But they wanted to know the payoff, Bank info, my finances, my social, etc. I told them they don’t need my social because I am not running my credit. They said “how can we get you numbers if we don’t run your credit?” They also wanted me to sing paperwork saying I would buy today if I got a good trade-in amount. This makes absolutely no sense. All you need as a buyer is the price of the car and the amount on trade. You can easily figure out the numbers from that (assuming you know your credit rating). They also told me their dealership is taking $6-9k off the wranglers and that none of that money is from rebates. Pretty sure this is inaccurate as well. After 30-45 mins have passed, they still didn’t have a trade-in amount. They said they were calling around and trying to get me a good trade amount. I told them I had to get back to work. They had my cell number and to call or text me the amount once they got it. A day has passed and still nothing back. I do not understand why dealerships play these games. Why advertise some kind of bait tactic like this? Why waste peoples time and lie about the authenticity to this tactic? Its very simple. My car according to their own trade-in appraisal on their website, states it’s worth $32-$35k. Just depends on the condition. So if my car has 4k miles and is in excellent condition, I would want closer to the $35k amount because of condition. If your bait tactic is authentic, you would be willing to offer me about $39k for it. Then we would have a trade-in agreement and can then try to find an agreement on new vehicle price. Save your time. I see this dealership has poor reviews. They advertise pretty good pricing. They advertise $4k more than kbb on trade. But it’s obvious this is just typical dealership bait tactics and this dealership plays the typical dealership scummy games. It’s unfortunate too, as I was expecting better. I had dealings with their Chevy dealership earlier this year. Although I ended up not buying, it was an overall good and honest experience. More
Great service, awesome price Service department did what they were supposed to do in the time frame they said and for a price that was significantly lower alternatives for oil cha Service department did what they were supposed to do in the time frame they said and for a price that was significantly lower alternatives for oil change and tire rotation. It takes longer than a pull in, pull out oil change location, but for the price and service, it was well worth the additional time. More

J D was a very nice salesman and was very helpful. I don't know what the rules are not when a person purchases a new vehicle but I do think some fuel in the gas tank should be required by your dealership. other than that I love my new charger. More
