Don't work with Richard McGlothlin I went in last month after working with a couple of dealerships online. David Stanley's online representatives told me a bunch of lies about the other I went in last month after working with a couple of dealerships online. David Stanley's online representatives told me a bunch of lies about the other dealerships and how much their document costs were vs how much theirs were just to get me on the lot. They promised me that they would honor my USAA member incentive certificate for $1000 off. I get to the lot and am greeted by salesman Richard McGlothlin. I told him which vehicle I was looking at. A brand new 2019 Challenger R/T. It took him forever, 20 minutes, to locate the vehicle. It was parked on their back lot across the street. He drove my friend and I over to the car and let us drive it back to the main lot. That was all the test drive I was offered. We sat down and talked a bit, he was pleasant enough, they all seem to be, I was completely up front about my USAA certificate and $250 tag, title & tax coupon. He refused my USAA member incentive even though it wouldn't take any money out of the dealership's pocket. He acted like he had no idea what it was. And apparently, he'd been in the business for thirteen years? He went to the Finance Manager and came back and stated it was already included in the incentives, which I knew to be a lie. He also refused to let me use the $250 coupon off TT&L. Stated it was not good with any other offers. What, I have to pay full price for the car? I still agreed to purchase the vehicle as there was only one other dealership in the area with the same color R/T, but they wanted $3,000 more. The detailers did a bad job cleaning the vehicle. They left dirt & muddy spots on the inside of the driver's door & they didn't wipe the dashboard off fully. When I signed my paperwork with the Business Manager, the contract was supposed to be at 4.45% and it was at 4.70%. I didn't catch it, and apparently, neither did the Business Manager. He called me next day saying he had good news. He said he made a deal and it would save me $3 a month on my payments. So I had to drive BACK up to the dealership and sign MORE paperwork, only to realize I was signing the correct paperwork. The Business Manager NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT A MISTAKE FROM THE FIRST PAPERWORK. With all that went on with just the salesman, I should have just walked away and gone to another dealership. But I now have the car I wanted, even though I feel that I paid too much. After filling out my survey of my visit, sent to me from the Dodge home office, the salesman called me and basically cussed me out for giving him a bad review. Stated "I thought you said you were gonna give me a good review? You crucified me!" I never received any feedback from General Manager after answering his questionnaire/survey he sent a few days later. I guess they don't care about repeat business. If you have read this entire review, heed my advice, steer clear of David Stanley Dodge. More

Financing was frustrating as the entire MSRP was financed despite a different price being posted online. We found out after the fact that the extended warranty was double those comparable. The agency that financed us wanted statements from our credit union — something we don’t even get anymore & had to pay $10 to get. The last frustration is this is a brand new vehicle (had 9 miles on it when we bought it) and we can’t even get an owners manual that’s for the current year, only one a year old. SMH. More
