I am reviewing the service department, not the entire dealership. I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation on my Jeep purchased in the summer of 2021. I had an appointment time of 1pm on Wednesday, Fe dealership. I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation on my Jeep purchased in the summer of 2021. I had an appointment time of 1pm on Wednesday, February 23rd. When I made the appointment I specifically asked them to include the spare in my tire rotation and told them I would be dropping the car off before work, so I would use the drop box for my keys as the service department isn't open before I needed to be at work. I also told them I would pick it up after work. I called to check to see if my car was done at 2:30 since I hadn't heard from them. After some confusion as to where my car was, I was told they had just pulled it in the garage to be worked on. I asked that it be done ASAP since my scheduled time was 1pm, I live over an hour away, and we had bad weather coming. I was then told because my keys were in the drop box it was considered a "waiter car" and they put those in the schedule when they could find time. I reiterated that I had an appointment time of 1pm and that was not communicated to me at the time I made the appointment, nor did that happen this Fall when I last had my oil change. I got to the dealership around 3 and was assured they were going to start right away and get it done quickly. I was really frustrated at this point to find out the work hadn't even been started and it was beginning to sleet. They finished after 4pm. When they told me it was done they let me know that I was a little low on DEF and they could top it off, but there would be a charge for that. I declined. I am very frustrated by the lack of communication and consideration of a very recent customer. The least they could have done is top off my DEF! The staff was polite while I was there and did apologize, but after the whole ordeal I didn't feel like they took responsibility for their error or were interested in keeping me as a customer. More
