I first went to look at the new Colorado, but after Scot spent at least an hour with me explaining all the capabilities of the new Silverado, I went with the full size and I've never been happier with a vehicle. I had actually looked at Tundra's, but the sales rep either didn't know anything about the truck, or didn't want to bother sharing it with me. I decided to order the truck from the plant, and Scott Hartwigsen was meticulous in making sure I got everything I wanted, and nothing I didn't. I remember when purchasing my Dodge thinking "I've never spent so much money and been treated so poorly in my life!" When working with Scott at Davidson-Gebhardt, I received the courtesy, appreciation, and patience that is expected when making a big purchase. Made me feel at ease! Had been in the market for a Ford Edge for a few months, and found one at Davidson. Had all the options I wanted, and at a fair price. David Curry let me take the car for a couple hours, have my mechanic (dad) look at it, and we even took it to lunch. Got back to the dealership, and I was in the mood to talk numbers. Before we even started negotiating, I told David what I was looking for as far as payments goes. He got within $7 of my limit, with an outstanding interest rate! And, gave me a fair price for my trade as well. One little hiccup, I couldn't take the car home that night because I didn't have full coverage on my insurance instituted yet, because the insurance company closed at 1pm that day, so I was told that I had to wait until Monday to pick up the car. I was very hesitant, because I had heard horror stories about other dealerships pulling a fast one on their customers, but David and his team sat down with me and explained everything, made me feel more comfortable, and assured me that all would be fine. Plus, it worked out better because it gave them time to detail the car and put new tires on it. I pick the car up tomorrow! Thanks, David and team! I'll be back! More
