I was always satisfied previously, but the last 12 to 16 months their service has really deteriorated. In the past when I called to schedule service, one of the service advisers was always available to discuss what my car needed. Now when you call, the person who does the scheduling can't even answer a simple question. They just tell keep asking what you want to have done. Last year I had a problem with some repairs that were done and called to speak to the service manager. He told me to stop in after work as he was there until 7PM. I arrived at 5:30 and he was gone for the day. I should have found another mechanic at that point, but I recently dropped my car off at 7:30 AM for some simple repair work and was assured the car would be ready when I came in at 4PM. I arrived at 4:15 and the repairs were not done. I was told it would be another 15 to 20 minutes. The car was finally ready at 6PM. A few days later I started to have problems with the car and spent over two hours trying to speak to someone in the service department but kept being put through to voicemail. I was finally able to speak to someone at Davis two days later... after I had already found someone else to take care of the problem. More
Service Work Exceptional I have purchased 3 cars here going back to 1979. OK, so I drive my cars a long time! The service department has always done a good job for me, but t I have purchased 3 cars here going back to 1979. OK, so I drive my cars a long time! The service department has always done a good job for me, but this week's visit was really good. When leaving, my wife was not given back the key to our car. It was as much her fault as theirs, but she drove home with a different key. Upon realizing her mistake, she phoned the service department. Matt Berg located the key and insisted on driving it to our house on his way home from work. We live 1/2 hour in the wrong direction, so he took an hour of his time to correct this mistake. I told Matt we would be happy if they mailed it, or we would pick up when next in that area, but he insisted on bringing it right to our house. You just don't find customer service like that very often. Thanks Matt! More

We went in on 10/14/2013 to return a leased Honda Accord and lease a new one (we would have leased our 4th car from them today). The person that took care of us started off by giving us an attitude and tell and lease a new one (we would have leased our 4th car from them today). The person that took care of us started off by giving us an attitude and telling us we needed to return the lease elsewhere when we were told by Davis Honda to bring it back there. Needless to say the gentleman continued to give us a hard time until I asked him why he was being rude. At which point he became defensive and started an argument with us on the sales floor. When I asked if we could be helped by the boss (GM) he told us he was the boss (GM). Which turned out to be untrue when we went to the website and found out he is by no means management. So for the rest of the visit he continued to argue back and forth with us about his "supposed" attitude. This is after I told him just take the car back and we will be on our way. In my twenty years of purchasing and leasing vehicles I have never been treated this way. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere if this is the attitude you get when you are trying to return one car and get another one. FYI: I called the dealership to speak with the actual GM or GSM and no one returned our calls. More
I have a vehicle that I purchased from Willis Honda (now Davis dealership). Until last week I had excellent service from this dealer, both during my purchase and when I came for routine service on the car. Davis dealership). Until last week I had excellent service from this dealer, both during my purchase and when I came for routine service on the car. Last week, I had a bad experience relating to some proposed body repair: I had not received a timely response to a request for a quote for some repairs and the quote I finally received seemed quite high for the work to be done. I posted my experience on DealerRater and sent a copy of my posting directly to Davis Honda. The next morning I received a call from Ed Grobelny at their body shop telling me that he had investigated my incident and acknowledging that I had not been treated appropriately. We had a good discussion about what had caused the problem - I went to the dealer to get my estimate, but all they were able to do at the dealer was to take a few photos and then send the photos to their body shop which is 20 miles away. From the photos the damage appeared worse than it actually was. Ed went out of his way to ensure that I will get the repairs at a very reasonable cost. While every organization has a problem from time to time, Davis Honda employees have handled my situation in a way that shows they value providing great service. DealerRater has been a great resource to help me communicate my problem to Davis Honda so they could address the problem and retain a satisfied customer. More
I have tried to use this dealer for service and must say the service writers are rude, when called about what was needed I asked questions and got it must be the way you drive, but this is not the first new the service writers are rude, when called about what was needed I asked questions and got it must be the way you drive, but this is not the first new car, never a problem in the past. When I declined to have the work done there was a warranty issue that they did not bother to check. I was also told that honda reccommends a front end alignment every 15K miles, but could not find that in my book or online, so was someone just trying to upsell? I questioned brake shoe lining and realize it is not the dealer's fault as they do not make the parts, but to get the answer given as if I was some unknowing person is funny, but this is the pattern at Willis. I need to trust a service writer so far I have not found one I can trust, maybe someone needs to teach them how to handle customers in a professional way for that reason I will no longer visit or reccommend this dealship. Willis service is very good, they are a well-oiled machine, and their loaner car policy and avaialability can't be beat. I miss the computers and free access to the Internet that they used to have and machine, and their loaner car policy and avaialability can't be beat. I miss the computers and free access to the Internet that they used to have and don't anymore. Other dealers have this. However, when we visited their lot and walked around looking for a used car, no one came out to offer any assistance or information. That was disappointing (we bought elsewhere). More
